TOTK SPOILERS!!!
Upon watching the end of Tears of the Kingdom, or at least the final battle— when you help all the regions and get all the sages and such, they all come when Ganondorf is about to hit Link with gloom.
And Link looks so ready to take that hit, again, knowing what it did the first time-
Then everyone comes to help him
And he looks so confused, because in any given memory, he is often the one doing the saving- he is the one who has given his life to his knightly duties! So it’s almost like he’s wondering why they’ve come to save him like this?
(He’s never been conscious to witness Zelda ever saving him)
Of course, this also possibly just me being an angst fanatic and enjoying Link and Zelda angst, or any LOZ angst for that matter, but for now take my word for it <3 /nf
One of Link’s almost only allegedly said dialogues ever was in Zelda’s diary in botw, and he said, of all things, that he thinks it is necessary to stay strong, and silently bear any burden. This guy does NOT ask for help nor does he ever expect it-
