I don't particularly like the proudly misanthropic mindset. I truly understand the anger and pain that humans have caused us, but that doesn't make misanthropy right. Just because a certain humans have hurt you, doesn't mean all humans are bad. It's unfair to the 'good' humans, and to the humans that actively support us.

It's also harmful to alterhumans who are human, like me. I'm a cyborg, and I'm partially human. To be so honest, misanthropic sentiments hurt. I can imagine that these sentiments hurt even more for humans who are plural, otherhuman, fictionkin, otherhearted, etc.

I also read a post from an alterhuman of color that talked about how misanthropy can also be tied to racism. I can send it to you if you want.

All in all, I just don't think it's ok to hate billions of people just because you've been hurt by certain humans. Two wrongs don't make a right, especially when you hurt innocent beings in the process.

I dislike the idea of humanity as a whole. It's not the fact that they are biologically human it's the concept of society itself. This was mainly for aesthetic purposes though, I apologize if I upset you or anypawdy else!
