Missing Letters
Jordan had perked up, hearing the familiar sound of the mail arriving. Oni and Klyn had been visiting, and he excused himself with a smile. “I should check, see what mail I got. It could be important!” Grabbing the envelopes from where they sat in his mailbox just outside the door.
“It’s cold again today.” He sat down at the table after heading back upstairs. “It’s a wonder we aren’t buried in snow ye–” he has looked at the back of the first envelope he grabbed and froze. Again with the familiar, carefully written words. There was a moment of mixed emotions clear in his expression before the primary distaste and irritation shone through.
“Great, again?” He grumbled, callously ripping the letter open, tail lashing furiously.
