Yis Goodwin

Nosego’s “Died a Few Times to Live This Once” at Paradigm Gallery.
Currently on view at Paradigm Gallery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is artist Nosego’s sensational solo exhibition of brand new paintings entitled, “Died a Few Times to Live This Once.”
Through a dynamic cartoon-expressionist style, Nosego creates works of graphic intensity and fervent energy, painting meticulously rendered, high-spirited dispatches from earthly yet surreal realms, a dazzlingly radiant world of mythological characters, dreamlike scenes, and fresh, childlike imaginings.
Intuitively blending comic book aesthetics with a pop culture sensibility, his vibrant, saturated canvases are marvels of invention. Through a process of continual addition, disparate elements are fused into intricately worked tapestries—leaving the viewer pleasantly lost in lush, chimerical reveries.
“Died a Few Times to Live This Once” will be on view until February 19th, 2019.
