Jiae let out an exasperated sigh, flailing her limbs like a child throwing a tantrum. How could something like this have happened?
There was a concert for a group that Jiae was a big fan of and she had been saving her money for what felt like an eternity for a moment like this, only to be disappointed at the fact that all the tickets were sold out and the promise of one being sold by someone who claimed they couldn’t go anymore (it was a rather shady situation, if she was being honest) was a no-show.
“Why me?!” she proclaimed, her arms held up to the sky as though the answer would suddenly rain down on her and then, it did.
Of course, there was a moment where Jiae paused and had to wonder if this was a good idea and every part of her told her it wasn’t, but was that going to stop her?
She jumped off the bench, geared towards getting into the concert by any means necessary and her mind couldn’t help but think that maybe it would be better to go with someone else and again, as though the answer fell from the sky, she spotted a familiar figure in the distance.
“Hey!” she called out, running towards them. “Yixing-ssi!” she called out, skidding to a halt as she linked her arm through his, a mischevious look on her face. “You want to do something fun with me?”
