No Couches Aloud! Kris&&Lay
Kris kicked open the door to his new dorm room as nicely as possible, considering his arms were full of garment bags and other very important clothing. The lights were off, so Kris figured he was the first one here, his roommate hadn't appeared yet. He struggled to turn the light on, not wanting to put his garment bags down because his clothes would wrinkle. He succeeded in turning the light on, although he still couldn't see anything because his luggage was on the way.
Kris moved through the room cautiously, thinking that maybe he should have came in without an armful of precious clothing to see what the place actually looked like. He slid his foot forward, felt nothing in his way, and stepped, only to trip and fall face first onto a couch. He panicked, hoping that he didn't break anything in his garment bags, and rolled off, landing with a thump on the floor. He pushed his clothing and bags aside, gently, before standing to gather them all up again. Stupid couch with it's stupid high bottom that he couldn't feel with his feet.
Yes it was the couches fault, not in any way his.
Kris huffed, draping a few things over the coffee table and setting his stuffed animal on top, so at least now he could see where he was going. Stupid couch with it's ugly pattern. It was mocking him, Kris was sure of it. The blonde moved into the first bedroom on the right, claiming it as his and carefully lying his garment bags out on the bed. Walking back into the living room and gathering the rest of his things, but leaving Ace on the couch, he put away his stuff and closed his bedroom door.
That couch was really ugly. Kris hated it already. He was too busy thinking about how much he hated that couch that he didn't watch where he was going, again, and tripped over the back of it, again. He flopped onto the cushions, looking up at the ceiling. This couch had to go. It had to.
It was him or the couch and he paid to be here.
Simple decision really.
Kris growled as he stood up again, eyeing the couch, and then the door. There was no way he was going to haul this ugly thing down four flights of stairs by himself, and he wanted it gone before his roommate showed up. He might stop him.
The window was certainly big enough though. Kris moved to the window, opening it as wide as it would go and looking out. The chill of the air made goosebumps on his skin rise, but it wasn't that far of a drop, not really. And who cares if the couch survived anyway? No one, that's who.
Alright, it was going out the window.
A little feeling naggled at the back of his mind, that maybe this wasn't such a good idea. But Kris didn't care, already pushing the couch as close to the window as he could get it. Goddamn this thing was heavy, Kris was already almost sweating as he lifted one end to rest on the window sill before walking around to push the other side. But then, he was the most fit of people. He was about to start pushing it out when he heard the door open behind him.
