Whooohoo!

Got my Yiynova 22in tablet today - with tripod to mount it on! Ran out of desk space.

First Thoughts: Not bad. No tilt function with the stylus, but I have been getting used to that with my Lenovo Miix. The lack of tilt doesn’t surprise me - on my old Intuos it was the source of performance issues with large brushes. Will take about a week to settle into the new workflow.

Driver installation was a pain - had to manually overwrite the wintab32.dll, first, because it kept thinking there was wacom drivers installed. Finding OUT that I had to do that first was the hard part.

I do love having it on a tripod. My desk setup is one that I can switch between standing and sitting, and the tripod is set to match.

my yiynova tablet STILL DOESN’T WORK and I have no idea how to fix it

known problems: - Trying to register the monitor brings up a “no monitor detected” message - In “add or remove programs”, it says the driver isn’t available/accessible/whatever the english version of that message is

I can use the pen just fine as a mouse for my laptop monitor BUT THAT’S NOT WHAT I’M TRYING TO DO NOW IS IT

does anyone have any idea how to fix this??

Followers with Yiynovas! Halp?

Have any of my followers purchased a Yiynova tablet monitor? I need all the first hand accounts I can get. I’m trying to decide between a Yiynova and a cintiq. I’ve worked with cintiqs before and I love them and I’ve had no issues with them- their price though is very high. The Yiynova is much cheaper, but I just don’t know if the quality is up to par for the price. My friend purchased a yiynova and said that it shorts out on her after an hour of usage so I’m a little weary about it now. So please if anyone has one or has a friend who has one, message me or respond to this!!

Yiynova Tablet

Has anyone heard anything about them? I've done a bit of research, but I'd like to see if anyone had any personal experiences with them. I'm debating on getting one.
