As I prepare to board my plane to go back to Phoenix I got to first give my host couple a shout out!! They picked me up from the airport, gave me access to their home, brought me to church, took me on a tour, and made sure I was as comfortable as I can be. They are the reasons why I was able to come and experience #ylc2017. Thank you @nicolasa77 and Rashawn for the great hospitality. (at Atlanta, Georgia)
One thing #ylc2017 taught me is about vision. If I can be transparent for a minute. I always had a passion for working with the urban community. I knew since I was a teenager I was called to be a preacher. I knew since college I would be traveling the world. During seminary God led me to write my vision on paper. He also led me the name of the ministry. At one time I printed it out and posted it on my wall so I could see it and pray over it each day. However things have not become the way I planned for it to become. Life happened. And actually till today I thought I threw my vision in the trash because I have dealt with so many things. Being at the conference caused a fire to be relit. Thank you to @mmoorejr and all the other visionaries who have shown me that regardless what life throws at us we need to accomplish the vision God has given us. Someone is waiting on it. So I am going back to putting my vision on my wall, praying for it, believing God is going to bring it to past. And I am excited about that!! Thank you everyone who made a deposit into me this past weekend. #ylc2017 was so life changing!! For years I kept telling myself that I was going to make it to this conference but never did. This year I made it my mission to attend no matter what. This has been the most life changing event I have been in my life. Old desires was were given new life and new desires was birthed. My vision, my destiny was reconfirmed and I am so ready to step into my calling. When I leave Atlanta so many dead things and desires are being left as well. @mmoorejr thank you for not giving up with the vision God gave you! Than you for sharing it with us! My future is so much brighter now! Years down the road when I look back I can say THIS was the cause that re-lit the fire and purpose that God has placed in me.
