Random Opinion

The Wings era cannot possibly be BTS' best era because Jin got an appauling amount of lines and Jimin has to sacrifice his health and wellbeing to meet the standards of armies, netizens, antis and locals alike.

Ideally, the best era title would go to an era where everyone got to shine equally(in terms of music and performance) and no-one sacrificed their mental and physical health to such an extreme manner. Admittedly, because this is the K-pop industry, one would be hard pressed to find such an era but in an ideal world this would be the standard.

Unfortunately, this would mean that my personal favourite era(the YNWA era) also can't be the best era. Let us never forget that BTS won song of the year for a song that didn't feature Jhope. Jhope has no lines in the studio version of Spring Day and highkey, people seemed really quick to forgive that for some reason. Some people didn't even notice he wasn't in it in the first place.

Eras like these cannot be representative of the best of BTS therefore, for me, neither of these eras qualify as being 'the best BTS era'.
