gg !! 💓 just read your post on the yods in composite & bro what about two yods in the natal chart ? 😦💕 cause i have two , one with venus and saturn and mercury and literally idk what it even means 😅
Hey friend!!! 💕💕💕Ooof I hope I can help! 💕
[Below Cut: Dealing with Yods and it’s Activation ]
Oooof well the thing with yod is that it can be activated through opportunity that arises! 💕 So most of the time, it points to your ‘quick-play’ responses when the opportunity triggers it! 💕
The apex (placement with two quincunx made to it) should tell you how you deal with things, and the two base placements are like ‘left-over’ emotions that you carry through to make those decisions.
For example, if you have Mercury at the Apex and Venus-Saturn at the base. When situation arises that requires you to be mature (Saturn) and deals with social-relationship/receptions of other people (Venus).
As tension increases and puts pressure on the Apex to perform perfectly--- you might find yourself acting stiffly or less than perfect (what you’ve expected) because you’ve become wooden (Saturn left over) and unseeing of everyone else (Venus left over) because of that tension (unpredictability). Unable to use your ‘quick-time/play responses’ (Mercury) properly.
This is like, a straight-forward example. Usually it’s a lil bit more complicated than that. But generally, your Yod might have to face challenges in your situation (context) that would require you to ‘prove’ yourself. Thus becoming ‘activated’ (although the consequence will be filed away to add to more ‘left-over’ frustration)
Think of all this as mid-points if it helps. When you draw a line between two planets on your chart, and cut it in the middle. Consequently you have a line that cuts the chart in half right? The Yod is when you coincidentally have another planet directly at that mid-point. Planets have energy and thus it’s like being stuck in a cross-fire between the two base planets.
Look towards the other end of the mid-point cut. The other end of the line. What sign does it fall into? What house? Try to put the energy into the passiveness of the house (or if there’s an asteroid/planet there, use it to balance out the cross-fire)
This largely depends on context, the sign itself and what house the Yod placements are in. Everything else in your chart can be influencing this Yod like major aspects made to it by other planets. It’s not just the Yod isolated, it’s all the pressure of the other aspects amounting against it as well.
It’s like watching two people arguing in the street (base planets) and then suddenly being dragged into it as well (Apex). Other people’s eyes are watching/judging what you say and whether you side with one or the other (other aspects) so your resolution for handling this best is by look at the other side of the line, either an asteroid/planet or the house/passive mediation.
I hope it makes sense and help you a little? 💕
