What’s your favorite thing to draw?
UHHHH good question! I usually just draw whatever I feel will look badass or make me feel good drawing it. I like drawing dripping things, creepy aesthetics, skulls, women, and I’m currently in a new lifetime obsession with witchcraft, occult imagery, and folklore. Also, any imagery I can conjure up from listening to sludge and witchy metal with female vocalists.
What’s your least favorite thing to draw?
landscapes, Bob Ross got that market covered forever so I’m good.
How long does an average piece take you to complete?
Depends on the size. I can finish a 5x5 in a few days, but something I put a lot more thought and detail into, like an 8x10 or 11x14 can take weeks from start to finish. Longest I ever spent on a painting was about a month and a half on a skateboard deck.
What is the most difficult thing for you to draw?
Honestly, I still struggle with weird perspectives like from above, below, or foreshortened angles. I still use a lot of photo ref, taking dumb pics of myself in the mirror to help me out (no shame in using reference!)
What is the easiest thing for you to draw?
Anything that comes out of my head that just flows like the eyeballs, drippy lewd mouths, and small designs.

Artist Asks!
9.How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?
heh, good question. It’s gone down a lot since I pretty much draw 8-9 hours a day full time at the office. By the time I get home I need a break for a while, so watch some dumb videos or play a game for a while. Then I’ll work on personal art for 2-3 hours then it’s bed time. So personal art is maybe a 1/3 of the amount of drawing I do compared to work related art. Still a lot, no wonder I have a cyst in my drawing wrist.
28. For traditional artists: what medium do you like most? (Pencil, charcoals, etc)
I work almost exclusively in watercolors and acrylic inks. I just use Windsor Newton and Van Gogh watercolors on watercolor board because stretching paper sucks so pay a bit more for the board. And I use Liquitex and FW brands of acrylic ink when I work on wood panels and skate decks. I also use Microns and a Pentel brush pen for all my lines.
29. For traditional artists: How do you usually start on a big piece? (Light sketch, colored lead, sketchpaper, etc)
For anything larger than normal printer paper size that I couldn’t just do the transfer method from my digital sketch, I use the grid. It’s tedious and a pain, but it works. Make a grid on your sketch, make the same proportion grid on your art thing, and just draw square-by-square. I usually improvise details, but hands, faces, and general body shapes need the squares.
30. What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?
I could spend a lot of time answering this type of question...like way too long. I just make things that I think look cool to me, honestly. I stopped giving a shit if people like my personal art, I don’t make art for other people to enjoy - I make it for ME to enjoy making it, and hopefully enjoying the final outcome. If people like my art, that’s great, but I don’t paint for other people (and I’m talking about stuff that I make because I want to, not commissions). I don’t want to work at a studio forever honestly, so I try and push myself to progress and network more and find that perfect niche of people who will fucking love things that I fucking love making.

Not just a semicircle; for you, anything. If you ask me for a background that's an actual room I would worry about the time it would take but I would do it.
Thank you belovéd mutual, for your support please take the only thing I draw: octopus
Okay but what is a "woof woof meow"?
Y'know, there are a few, shall we say, staples of fandom. Tropes, if you will, that tend to crop up in all fandoms and all pairings, really. I think this is healthy for the eco system, kind of a neutral ground for the foraging fandom foreigner, someone who wants to dip their toes in but still have something familiar to guide them, yeah?
So anyway it's me guys, HalduRomThemar, accursed artifact go poof, and whew, if you thought Hal and Rom were fighting like cats and dogs before...! Excerpt:
I don't think you're boring I think you're very interesting 😶
Thank you! In return, please have a picture of Indie, my sister's cat
