“Are you nervous?”
[ ✧ ] —-“Nah.” Dolce merely gave the “doctor” a look of disbelief—in quotation marks because he was still a bit wary of where the man got his diploma from—lips pursing into a thin line as he shook his head along with his reply. “A…friend suggested I come to you, so I’ll cut to the chase.” The boy leaned forward, ebony hues narrowed in judgmental scrutiny, his elbow grazing against the table edge. “Can you prescribe me anything for insomnia? Like pills?”

A motorcycle accident | Alexander & Yoseob
"Doctor, we have a trauma case coming in." Every emergency physician's favorite phrase--followed by a frenzy of nurses and x-ray technicians trying to fin the best place to situate themselves for easy access. But Alexander felt a huge migraine coming on once he was handed the patient's chart--motorcycle accident. Of course. His eyes scanned further down the sheet to find more information on the patient. Male in the 20's. Of course. Alexander snapped the chart closed and took off his white doctor's coat--he had a feeling that he was going to be elbow deep in mess soon.
"The ambulance is 2 minutes away!" The E.R. technician called out as nurses hurried to set up the trauma room for the patient. Carts were being wheeled in and out--just in case we needed this, just in case we wanted to intubate--and the CPR cart sat right outside of the room "just in case". His career was just a bunch of "just in case" put together, but nothing excited Alexander more than to break him away from the usual complaints of back pain and shoulder pain than seeing the flashing red and blue lights. The ambulance, its aura in a hurry, quickly pulled up to the emergency room's exit and immediately, a team of paramedics jumped out. Alexander raced up to the back of the truck, turning to the closest paramedic he could reach. "Give me details. What was the on site heart rate and blood pressure? Did you give him any painkillers? Is he stable? What was the situation?
