What a journey for #mentorshipworkshop in Hong Kong! Approaching its 5th year with over 70 graduates (some now teaching at @pureyogaofficial @theyogaroomhk @iris.hkg @barcelonayogaconference and assisting in @yonion_yogafestival and @yogafest_w.e), it is a supportive community for yoga teachers who share a passion to teach, to share and to excel. • The mentorship workshop is designed for newer yoga teachers and experienced ones alike, for those who want to expand their horizons and deepen their fulfilment as a yoga teacher in Hong Kong and abroad. • The biggest question for me (and I guess for you too!) after graduating from the #yttc200 was: NOW WHAT? • And the list of questions goes on: How do I start teaching? How do I find confidence in my voice as a teacher? How do I find my students? How do I get hired? Should I quit my own full time job and start teaching yoga full time? Can I make enough money to support myself (and my family) as a yoga teacher? And perhaps most importantly, am I the only one who feels this way? • The truth is, you are not alone. And all those questions will be answered in the mentorship workshop. Now we have a support network of mentorship workshop graduates who will offer their advice, time and opportunities to you. You will have a one-on-one session with my senior graduates @reebiesw (yoga programme director @flexstudiohk and a @lululemonhk ambassador), @delia.indrayoga (founder of @mdflmvmt and an official @nikehkg trainer) and myself. • You will learn the business of yoga, may get the opportunity to assist me or past graduates at #yogafestivals in Hong Kong or abroad. You will learn more adjustment skills and will teach in front of everyone in the class and be given constructive feedback on your teaching.
