Day 🔟 #YOGANCE challenge seated twist ▶️ half moon. I had to do this so many times! I was like a little clockwork woman. It really highlighted the difference in strength between my left and right sides. I tried to keep it a bit slo-mo to notice exactly where my body might be struggling. This little move is a class by itself! CAPTION: "Every decision you make will determine the final outcome" @cuchira Well there are many decisions I could look back on in my life that have led me into more challenging circumstances rather than yielding the joy or security I was hoping for. I didn't know how things worked, I bucked against the natural flow, hoping I could change and remodel people and fated circumstances to fit a pattern I wasn't even aware I hadn't created myself and could never make me happy. As I approach my 40 I can see how this saying "if you always do what you've always done, you will always get what you've always had" is true. And I notice the shift from attempting to change the outer world to changing and transforming my inner world to experience the outer world differently. Of course, some of the more reckless decisions I have made have ultimately forced me into a meeting with myself and the acknowledgement of the need to change as a person. 👶🏼 and for that I am grateful. I think no matter what the outcomes we experience in life, the fact is we are in control of our actions/decisions alone, we can never be fully in control of the outcome. There so many factors at play. In addition, beating ourselves up over what may retrospectively seem to have been a poor decision is never helpful. The decisions are our learning in action; the outcomes our teachers. 🙏🏼 #yogance™ #yogaisforever #myyogalife #decisionsdecisions #yogancer #yogancewarriors
