I moved a couple of weeks ago and am finally mostly settled in. I wouldn't say that I'm 100% happy with the move, but it was the smart thing for me to do, and I'm back in my hometown, where I have a safe neighborhood for walking, which I have missed the last few years. On my walking route is this huge, beautiful oak tree--it used to have more limbs to climb on, but those seem to have been cut off since I've last seen it. Just standing under it is so peaceful...cool, shady, and filled with the soft chirping of birds.
