We all have strength and to build that strength we must challenge ourselves💪 We all know this in a physical sense. It's why we go to the gym, run or lift weights. But what about our mental strength? Can we train ourselves to become thicker skinned and less susceptible to negative feelings? Yoga teaches you to become aware of your body, how it feels and what it needs. I've been putting this into practise with my emotions as well. I always thought I had to try harder with those around me, that to make friends I had to be sociable a large amount of the time, but I didn't realise that this was draining me. Until a chat with my Mum about me as a child sparked a realisation: "You didn't need friends, you were perfectly happy reading books and being creative." I am still that girl! 🌟 I love people, my close friends and family especially, but I don't feel a need to be surrounded by people and never have done. Children don't question why they feel certain ways, they just do what makes them happy, so why don't we carry that on into adult life?
