Caught like a Fly // [Yosuke and Adachi]
"Saki-senpai. . ."
That very name was muttered out painfully from the Magician's mouth. No matter how he tried his attempts into forgetting about her, all he could recall was seeing her face. She truly was someone who accepted him. . .despite the true feeling she harbored within. Recalling those words, he couldn't help but let a faint chuckle his lips.
Ha. . .he was a real pain in the ass, huh. . .
It was embarrassing to find out the truth but he followed his partner and everyone else to solve this case. Not to mention that they made a promise to that idiotic bear. . .This was all growing too much on me. . .maybe I should see him. . .maybe he knows something about it. . ."Adachi-san was the last person to come in contact with Saki-senpai. Well that's what I heard from her classmates and Dojima-san. Geez. . .I didn't really want to do anything behind my partner's back but. . .looks like I got no choice." If there was a break through in the case, maybe he could do this without getting anyone else hurt. It was only just a small chat that would occur. . .nothing more right? Nodding to himself, the time to punch out of work was now. He already made up his mind into speaking with the detective about a few things. If everything turns out well, they would be just close to solving the case. "Who knows. . .maybe I'm only doing this to get a little entertainment out here. . .yeah. . .half and half by. . .my feelings for Saki-senpai aren't half-assessed. I really did love her. . .a lot. . ." The Magician gathered his things before leaving Junes, heading for the police station. His mind was a little troubled over what to say. . .hopefully Adachi-san was there. It simply couldn't wait.
Finally arriving, he let out a small sigh before asking around for the detective Adachi-san. There weren't much officers left so this would make things a little easier. As soon as he would make the efforts to look for him on his own, a familiar voice echoed behind him. "Adachi-san! Ah h-hey there. Um. . .see there's something I have to talk to you about. You mind killing a few minutes before you leave? It's something about the case."
This whole time he forgot to mention his name? Well, he really didn’t think he had to give out his name. Whatever, it’s not like he cared on who knew his name or not. He was an officer so people had to know his name anyways, right?
"My name’s Adachi. Tohru Adachi." He said with a nod. He felt a sudden unease. Like something seemed… off. Maybe it was the cold eyes that the other had. He didn’t have much emotion, huh?
"By the way, you came from the city, right?" He asked, blinking once, "I think that’s what Dojima had told me. It’s kinda boring here so far, huh?" He asked, "I’ve been here for a while and I feel the same way. Coming from the city. At least you’re only here for a little while."
His optics fixated to the officer with a bit of concern. Why was there a strange feeling around them? Maybe it truly was his imagination but there was a sudden shift to his emotions. The protagonist was capable of expressing emotions. . .if it involved something interesting. It might prove to be difficult to explain but if something caught his eye, there was a determination to inspect it a little more closely. Call it the keen eyes of suspicion that he inherited from his Uncle. Probably a bad habit but he truly didn't have much friends to fully trust them since. . .he usually left them after a while. That might have been why he detested his parents at time; there was never a certain place to call home or stay as a permanent residence. Inaba wouldn't be any different. . .it is strange how I asked for his name since I really don't care as much but. . .I guess I was curious. . .
So he thought.
"Adachi-san? It's nice to meet you, I guess. Huh? Oh yeah. . ." He was asking him about the city and going on about feeling the same way? Yeah. . .maybe the protagonist did have the intention of wanting to leave already but it was something he was used to. Horrible as it may be, it would be nice to. . .somehow meet some new people. That changed the look of his eyes to a sadden one though it wasn't anything he mentioned. "I don't think it's that boring since I'm still getting used to the area. It's only been a day and school is pretty interesting. Sure the guys are strange but. . .maybe I blend in with them, if that makes sense." By guys, he was referring to the one who crashed into a trashcan. Of course, he left him be since it was the right thing to do. . .so he thought wickedly. Somehow there was a slight urge to ask him the following question. Hopefully it wouldn't be bothering the officer while he was on duty.
Then again. . .I did find him doing nothing in the first place so. . ."Adachi-san, do you not like it here?"
