Yukiko Amagi -- Persona 4 Animation, P4G, P4A
I admit. . .Yukiko was my true, first muse I ever started out in the Persona fandom. Then it was Adachi, then Nanako, and then Naoto~ so. . .yeah Yukiko started it all and it'd be nice to bring her back. I'll probably research her also when I get my baby (PS Vita) fixed. Especially since her inner struggle of 'breaking out of the cage' is something I can relate to at this moment in time.
We Never that Far // [Yu and Adachi]
"Yeah, it’s nice to meet you too, Narukami." He said with a grin, trying to shake the feeling he had previously. He cleared his throat as he shook his head, listening to him. "Uh huh." He spoke clearing his throat. He seemed like he was really quick at making friends, despite his seemingly lack of personality. He crossed his arms, staring at him. Something wasn’t… normal with his presence. It unsettled the man, as if he posed as a threat of some sort. He couldn’t help but wince lightly— this was something that he had to look into later.
"Well, it’s not that I don’t like it here…" He paused, clearing his throat, "I mean, I don’t entirely like it here… but it’s kinda nice and peaceful. I guess that’s what also makes it boring." He gave a small grin before laughing lightly, "I mean, a lot of action and stuff happens in the city and something’s always going on… Despite the recent murders… there hasn’t been anything going on. You see what I’m saying? It’s just… boring." He confessed before letting out a sigh. He then perked up a bit, "Oh… but don’t tell Dojima that. He might get upset at me or something."
Remaining clueless to the feeling he carried, the Fool wasted no time into heeding his words carefully. It was a bit interesting to know how someone else expressed some similar feelings of Inaba. He just felt as if this place would be as any other. . .it was a temporary lodging and pretty soon, he would need to depart. Why else would he yearn to make any memories or friends here when at the end of the year. . .he'd lose it all? An overwhelming fear developed within his chest, almost as if he expressed a small reaction to these contemplated thoughts. Departing. . .from another place. . .I should grow accustomed to it and yet. . .A few words muttered from the boy as he listened to the detective speaking about Inaba being a boring place. "You're lucky, Adachi-san."
Here would come possible questioning to his words but they were true.
The more he looked at the situation, the more he viewed the man to be lucky. At least he could have the opportunity to stay in one location, despite it being by force. If that were to happen to him. . .I think I'd be a lot happier. . .I would have a reason to stay despite my parent's constant transfers. . .So the detective didn't like how Inaba was peaceful? Well that was an odd hypocritical thought--wasn't he a police officer who was meant to keep the place in peace? Shrugging his shoulders, the Fool gave a few blinks before nodding at his words. Of course he wouldn't tell his Uncle about all this since it might not have been something he'd like to hear. "Murders? Hmm. . .I see. I won't tell my Uncle about this, Adachi-san. Maybe you can come over to my Uncle's house for dinner, if you want. Nanako-chan seems lonely." He was lonely himself but his suggestive expressions says otherwise.

After Practice // [Chie and Kou]
Wow, it was obvious that she probably caught on to his stuttering. Oh man, if he didn’t watch himself more carefully, she might find out his secret – and that wouldn’t be good. He took a few inhales through his nose to try to calm himself down, finding that it’s working as a charm, at least for now anyway.
Though he was confused when she started off talking about Yosuke and about how he called her a beast because she wanted some steak, he found it cute how passionate she was about her meat and how she would think aloud like that. "No, don’t worry ‘bout it. I don’t mind it at all."
"Ai? Heh, if only I can get her to go to practice enough to keep them in line. They sure as hell don’t listen to me, that’s for sure," a chuckle accompanied his words, his mind going back to practice. “Man, it’s a shame. Did you know that people actually think that our basketball team is actually a joke? It’s been a long time since we actually had a serious game. It’s so sad.” He rubbed the back of his neck, his eyes averting to look at her. "Haha, sorry Satonaka-san. I didn’t mean to be so negative. Just forget I said all that, yeah?" How lame. Get yourself together, Ichijou! You have to be positive around her and keep that negativity under wraps! Who, in their right mind, would want to hang out with a Negative Nancy? No one, that’s who!
Her voice broke him from his mental scolding, his lips quirking up into his usual smile. At least the subject was changing to something they could both be happier about — his precious Aiya and her love for steak. "Isn’t Aiya’s Meat Bowl great? I can’t help but stop there after practice with Daichi and Yu." His cheeks reddened when she asked him if he wanted to come with, responding with a quick nod of his head. "O-Of course! Wait, I mean yeah! Sounds cool! Haha…" Of course he had to give such a lame response. Who even sounds excited like that?
One glance at her face and he knew something was bothering her. Before he could open his mouth to ask, however, she stopped him. "Yeah, let’s go then!" With that, he led the way inside Aiya’s. Kou moved to sit where he usually did, waving Chie over. "Come sit. You already know what you want? I’ll pay for ya if you want." And in that instant, he was glad that he was a member of the House of Ichijou — the allowance should be enough so he could pay for their meals if she allowed him to pay, that is.
So he had his own problems with the basketball team? As much as she didn't want to sound rude, this was the first time Chie ever heard anything negative coming from him. He always sounded positive and looked like he was having fun with his favorite sport. Maybe something else was bothering him or he just didn't want to upset anyone. That's what she kind of liked about him. . .he was honest when he had to be and plus he didn't call her a beast for talking passionately about steak. Man if only there were guys like him. . .or Narukami-san. . .at least he never had the nerve to call me a beast. . .Sighing a bit, the Chariot gave a dismissive wave of her hand when he was apologizing for his negativity. She couldn't help but laugh it off a little, in hopes of trying to cheer him up. He seriously didn't have to say sorry for talking down or anything--he didn't have to be so uptight or confident around her. She knew what it felt like when that strength others mentioned was there. . .it was nothing but a facade.
I'm nothing but a two-faced coward. . .just like my Shadow said. . .but I can't let him know that. . ."Haha oh come on. There's no reason for you to apologize just for talking negative. I mean we all have our moments, right? I don't mind if you talk to me what bothers you. Just know I'm here for you Kou! I mean we gotta look out for our buddies, right? I'm sure Daisuke would also love to hear about your worries and stuff." Giving his cheek a light poke, this was her method of trying to cheer up the second party. Maybe it came naturally to her but she did think sometimes like a kid. After hearing his response to come with her, she literally perked up by his acceptance.
This was going to be great!
There was nothing more she appreciate than to attend Aiya's Meat Bowl with a friend. . .especially one who would be willing to pay. I mean I don't have much yen on me since I wasted it on buying a new kung fu DVD for my training! "Alright, then let's go! I'm in the mood for everything on the menu! Haha. . .nah I kid about devouring everything on the menu. I seriously don't want to flush you out of your yen, Kou." When they arrived, the Chariot took a moment to inhale the sweet sweet smell of meat being grilled to perfection. It was enough to make a sudden drool appear from her mouth, but she quickly gulped it up. There was no way she could show how much meat meant to her. But dammit!
Growl.
Her stomach literally beckoned for something to eat already! Taking her seat next to him, she glanced up to see what she could order. Chie thought about getting something cheap so she wouldn't harm his finances but his words were. . .quite assuring. Was he loaded or something? You know come to think of it. . .I never really hear much about his parents or anything. . ."Y-You mean it, Kou?! Oh my god Kou, you seriously are a life-savior! Well then, I'm not gonna hold back so. . .I want to get three orders of this bowl."
Seriously Chie. . .you need to hold back on the meat there!
Caught like a Fly // [Yosuke and Adachi]
A loud yawn came from the young detective. He sat back in his desk as he stretched. He must have fallen asleep as he was working on some papers that he had gotten from Dojima. It was a good thing that the older male wasn’t around because it would of been kicked out of the office for a long while. Sighing, he wiped his mouth from any drool and stared back at the pile.
There was really nothing important in there.
A small sigh came from his lips as he got up; maybe some coffe would do him some good. He just needed something to tie hime over before his shifted ended… Man, if there anything the male wanted more in the world was a good nap. Scratching the back of his neck, he began to make his way over to the break room.
"Let’s see… two creme… two sugars…" He muttered lightly to himself as he grabbed the extra sweetners as the coffee boiled. "Might as well start filing those papers while I wait…" He said lightly to himself as he took another step out into the hall.
“Adachi-san!”
He turned to see who was calling; definitely not Dojima and it promised someone to talk to! He happily turned before seeing who it was; Yosuke Hanamura. He frowned to himself, but it quickly faded away as he didn’t want to let anything faze the younger male. He had to keep up his facade.
"Ah, Hanamura, right?" He asked, grinning a bit. "The young Junes Prince! WHat brings you here—" He blinked as he heard what the young male wanted, "Oh.. .the case? We’re not supposed to talking about it—- but I guess if it’s important. We can discuss it in the interogation room." He offered with a shrug; not wanting to be caught by the older male that lingered.
Junes Prince. . .oh how the Magician truly despised that nickname.
In truth, there were a selective people who could refer to him by that name if they wanted to. Mostly he wanted to hear it from his friends, but everyone else can simply brush it off. It didn't ring as pleasant as his friends make it out to be. Honestly, the nickname complimented to the idea of Junes being responsible for the low service at the Shopping District. They spoke much of how Yosuke here was the son of the manager of a hated store in Inaba. Rumors whispered throughout his ears and he grew tired of it, considering how he didn't like being there in the first place. His opinion changed afterwards but it still bothered him whenever someone had to bring up the nickname. "Hey Adachi, can you not call me Junes Prince? I honestly don't like it when someone calls me that since you know. . .it kinda brings a little irritating things." Well the detective didn't know precisely and he didn't care if it never happened. What mattered at the moment was the poisonous word that spilled from his mouth.
Saki-senpai. . .I swear I will find the one who did this to you and make them pay dearly!
Gulping lightly, the Magician tried to summon the best of his strength to ask the detective of the case. I have to make sure I don't say anything about the TV since there's no way this goofball detective could ever understand. . .and to be honest he looks kind of useless. . .I should ask Dojima-san but. . .Saki-senpai spoke with this guy before her death. . ."Yeah I kind of think it's best to talk about this privately, Adachi-san. Anyways can we go to the interrogation room to talk about the case? I promise I won't say anything that will get you in trouble with Dojima-san. Kinda figured he might get mad at you or something." Placing his hands inside his pockets, there would be a moment to pause as they headed for the room. The Magician followed his lead though wondered something strange. . .somehow he couldn't explain it but he felt peculiar around this guy. Maybe it was just his imagination or did Persona users have these senses of finding out others who are like them? Nah. . .that's just crazy man. . .well then again, it's pretty crazy to fall inside a TV and fighting Shadows in the first place so. . .Shrugging the idea away, the boy took a deep breath before addressing the matters.
This was it. . ."I wanted to ask you about. . .Saki Konishi. You see, I've been. . .a good friend of hers and she worked at Junes." That was a lie about being good friends--hell she freaking hated him and called him a pain in the ass. There went his mood lowering to a serious note, but carried that inevitable sad face. "I've kind of been concerned about her death so I asked around school if anyone knew her. One of her classmates mentioned about being interrogated by a police officer and I thought it was Dojima-san. So I spoke to him first before coming here and he mentioned you talked with her. Can I ask. . .what happened while you spoke with her? Did she speak of anything that bothered her?" This was probably the best excuse to ever come up with hiding away the truth. He knew how she met her fate but maybe the Magician could unlock something about it.
"I know it isn't my business to poke my nose around it, but you see. . .I really liked Saki-senpai a lot and she means more to me than you can imagine. So I want to know if you knew anything Adachi-san. . ." No. . .he didn't just care for her. . .he loved her a lot. . .Even if you didn't have feelings for me. . .I still love you Saki-senpai. . .
“I concur with your statements, alternate,” and with that, he proceeded to toss a dart in a perfectly straight line, making sure that it hit the dead center. “But you seem to have forgotten the most important aspect— our swag.”
Watching the dart ever hitting on the mark, that was nothing more than a pleasant thing. Oddly enough, it was. . .slightly turning himself on to the point where he was overall confident now. Yes, their swag conquered all of Inaba and they were the reigning Fools. Pulling out his own spectacles, he chuckled lightly before muttering out these words only.
"It's only natural, alternate."
"Hey Kanji, how's it going?"
"Yo Senpai! It’s going good. Just finished a couple of those cute shit dolls Ma’s been asking for to boost up business in our store. What about you?"
"Izanagi made a false comment. Does this body look as if it's lacking exercise to you? I think not."
Obviously the Fool is never lacking any of the sort. He is naturally gifted with a wondrous physique. Even the ladies and Yosuke would agree to this. "My abs do not lie."
"I guess we’re stuck together, then, partner." He said, clearing his throat a bit before rubbing the back of his head.
"Yeah, it seems that way Yosuke. Well then. . .aren't you suppose to be obsessing over me?" It didn't seem like this would work but who knows. . .maybe it'd be fun and games to the Fool. After all, a flustered and embarrassed Yosuke was the best sight to ever behold.
>It seems your declaration of 'love' for Youske has left him in a flustered but confused face. Both of you are unaware of how to approach the situation but it looks dire. Shall you approach it without fail or do the appropriate thing?
"I should just leave him be."
"…." Naoto did not know what to say to Yu at first. All she could do is sigh. It was true that it was not like her to let her shadow take over. But…she really did miss him a lot. But was what she heard him tell her shadow earlier true? Yu came here because he felt her in danger? Tears fell down her face. "…I’m no genius Senpai…not when I let stuff like this happen…" she managed to speak out.
There she was. . .the True voice of the Fortune wielder.
A smile was evident to display on his facial features. He never ventured a gaze away from the detective, focusing entirely on her. Though he never expected to suddenly see those saddened tears from her grey orbs. . .She must have been suffering. . .I'm glad I could sense she was in danger. . .One of his hands notion over to her cheeks and gave it a gentle stroke, moving up to her eyes. Even if he wasn't someone who could be the best to seek comfort, his fingers brushed away those tears that fell down. Her words were enough to emit a friendly chuckle. So much like me after all. . .After taking a couple of moments to hear her out, he simply stated these words.
"It's alright, Naoto."
Pausing for a moment, the Fool brought the small detective to his embrace. "Don't lower yourself just yet, Naoto. We all have our moments but that's why you need to realize something. . .you are never alone."

Yu Narukami vs. Aigis
"You think you can save her Narukami? Ha! I’d like to see you try! I exist as her suppressed thoughts. So therefore, she has been upset and keeping it from everybody." She paused for a moment when she heard Yu ask her a question about Naoto’s thoughts that concerned him.
"You want to know what she had on her mind that relates to you? Very well then. Narukami…you are special to her. She however is confused on what kind of special. She isn’t sure if you are a special friend to her or something more. The whole "love" emotion is confusing to her. So that is why she isn’t sure what kind of special you are to her. She missed you and yearned for you. That is for sure."
Although it's true. . .I can't fully save her since she has to do this on her own. . .but she isn't alone anymore and it doesn't mean I won't try. . .With a determined look to his face, the Fool glanced at the Shadow who looked quite irritated. Same as always. . .he'd seen this same expression on her the last time they've encountered the dangerous Shadow. Still, he never imagined for Naoto to carry such suppressed thoughts to this day. The true selves existed as their Personas. . .maybe it was possible for his own to appear one day. Furrowing his brows to her words, it seems their sentiments were similar. A confused Naoto who harbored a special sort of 'love'? That wasn't like her to wield the emotions of love, no offense. But he truly couldn't imagine her to desire someone like him. Why would anyone desire this man, despite his 'kind' nature? His head shook as if to brush away those thoughts.
Scared. . .losing friends. . .not again. . .
"Special? Ah then it's the same for me. Regarding Naoto, she's quite special to me as well. Not sure if it's like her to carry a love feeling but. . .I missed her, along with everyone else." Wasn't the detective who spoke to him before he left that he could call her and she'd gladly answer? She could have contacted with him, any of his friends could. It was troubling how everyone viewed him to be so grand when all he wanted was to have his friends. Bonds were strength, the bonds he made with everyone were special to him. . .he'd never trade them for anything else. Smiling contently, the Fool began to approach the Shadow without any fear. "Hey Naoto, can you hear me? I missed you as well and you're special to me. Come on. . .you're stronger than this. You were the one who taught me to stay strong. I won't forgive you if you allow your Shadow to overpower you. Stand up. . .and fight her, Naoto!"
Shadow Naoto looked ahead of her to see someone standing in front of her. It’s….him. The boy Naoto could never stop thinking about. Even when he went back home. She is so hung up on him. And only now he decides to come by? How pathetic.
"What business do you have here now? Did you know Naoto always had her mind on you while you were gone? Why are you here now all of a sudden?"
This was. . .a surprise to him.
Normally, he understood how the detective always kept to herself. Though she sometimes entrusted much of who she was thanks to their time spent together. Although. . .the rejections he made were from a sense of wanting to think about the matters. Perhaps he also had Naoto in the mind but not as strongly as the Shadow was announcing. There came a confused look to his face but it was calm, almost concerned about her feelings now. Hopefully he could accomplish something to ease the Shadow and bring back his friend. "It's alright Naoto. . .I'm here for you. I came because I felt my friend was in trouble."
I'd do anything for my friends because they meant a lot to me. . .including you Naoto. . .so try to hang in there. I'll free you as soon as possible. . .Readying himself, the Fool thought of a new tactic. Simply interrogate the Shadow and ask for her to release any sort of thoughts she never mentioned. His curiosity getting the best of him, the Fool didn't make any approach to her but muttered out these words. "What. . .did Naoto had on the mind that concerned me, to be precise?"
"Why? Why am I always alone? Why does everyone always leave me?"
Something felt off from the Fool's mind. It seems a sudden ringing occurred from his mind, notifying of a drastic change. A change in the. . .Fortune Link?
Blink. Blink. Blink. Immediately dropping everything he was doing, the Fool ran to the direction where it would lead him to the little Shadow. Unfortunately he was unaware of his friend to be victim of such a horrible curse. Panting heavily from the run, it seems there was a petite detective standing before him. That wardrobe. . .was that. . .
". . .Naoto? No. . .you are her Shadow, aren't you?"
Just as the Fool feared. . .his friend was forced to release her Shadow to roam freely. This was something he had to help his friend with.
