I have always been guilty of making things happen. I had a hard time letting things, allowing things to happen. I would get in there and man handle every piece and part, like I was directing "ok people none of this is believable at all... Back to one. Action!" Like a chubby sticky kid hand grabbing a butterfly, too intense, over excited. . There were sweet moments, that I'd love to relive. I know that's not how it works. I know that even wanting that is an issue, I'm not regretting, or past focused. But as God as my witness, if that sweetness ever came my way again I'd do it right. Yesterday I left my position at @mindbodyalign I will still be a part of the MBA family, and I will teach there and help whenever they need me, but it was the last day of me being in that position. The women I worked with gave me a card and a beautiful aloe plant, and their unwavering support. I left feeling loved and happy and like I have learned so much. I stopped in at Discovery, my new place, to organize my class room a bit. I was coming in the door, practically spinning in circles like Julie Andrews, just bursting with joy and happiness and BUSTED. MY. BUTT. I fell. Like the kind of fall that causes the stuff you're carrying to fly up into the air about 6 feet and then land in a messy pile around you. I haven't fallen like that since I got sober... it was hilarious. It was...humbling. like, God was saying, 'you are loved, you are not alone, but don't get a big head, you're still kind of a dork' .😉💥💫 . . .
