"The Final Masquerade" comes to an end.
Episode Thirteen (Ending)
A brisk chill and deadly silence had befallen the two highly skilled opponents.
The “Pawn” had crossed paths with the “Game Master” once more. Though his mastery of the game was the art of malice and manipulation. The playing field was the false world they were standing in. And the winner was a scheming, deceitful and merciless cheat.
All along, the game was fixed.
All along, the story was pre written.
All along, there was no destiny.
No chance of fate.
No one had been saved.
The games had just begun.
Kamogawa Yohsuke crossed one arm across his abdomen. A small bright yellow pyramid-like creature appeared and perched itself upon his forearm.
Its enormous soul-less eye showed no expression, no remorse.
Asakura Hao could feel his entire world falling away from him.
The movements of the one smirking menacingly at him seemed to slow down, like time itself was being turned backwards.
An incessant high pitched ringing began to penetrate Hao’s ear drums.
The one in his mind had fallen completely silent.
Hao looked up at that all too familiar illusion sky one more time.
Then he realised,
He was lost.
Though strangely, at the exact same time,
He was home.
A small pained smile appeared on his face.
His brown and golden irises sparkled like starlight.
There was only one face and one voice in his mind at that moment,
“Because you’re my big brother, that’s why….
…and I love you...”
The golden cards in the villain’s hand disappeared.
The incessant ringing immediately ceased.
Hao fell to his hands and knees.
He slowly lowered his head. His long hair drooped across the dirt.
With wide eyes, he saw something fall to the ground in front of his face.
A drop of blood.
That acute recognisable pain in his chest momentarily returned, but then - it seemed to be instantly remedied.
A warmth began to radiate within his chest cavity.
A comforting warmth.
A loud audible twisted laugh echoed and warbled all around him. Hao slowly lifted his head and locked his furious eyes on Yohsuke’s psychotic expression.
That laugh was the worst laugh he had ever heard. The noise rooted itself deep under his skin and scratched something inside him he didn’t even know existed.
Ignited something inside him.
Awakened something inside him.
“Hao…”
“Zeke. You’re still here.”
“Of course I am.”
“I want to kill him.”
“I know you do…
Yoh won’t know who you are anymore…
No one will…
You will be all alone in this world…
He was the one who did this to you….
He manipulated you…
He manipulated your friends…
He has taken everything from you…”
“Promise me, you won’t ever take another life.”
“He deserves to die.”
“I know he does.”
“Promise me, you’ll always be exactly who you are right now.”
“Do it, Hao!!”
“I promise, Yoh. Anything.”
“KILL HIM!!!!”
Hao leapt to his feet. He sprinted the few paces between him and his oversoul-less opponent and tackled him hard to the ground.
He straddled the chest of his victim and clenched his jaw, clenched his hands.
Yohsuke did not move, did not fight back, did not resist.
But his manic unbearable laughter continued.
Hao did not bother to summon any oversoul.
Did not bother to utilise any of his mastery.
Did not try to make this any less painful.
He used only his physical strength,
And brutally, violently, mercilessly,
Ripped the human apart with his bare hands.

Blood drenched his face, his hands, his hair.
His white shirt became blood red.
And even after the laughter had finally stopped…
…he continued.
Until there was nothing left of that twisted evil scheming face.
The face of the one who had pushed him to this.
Pushed him to the very edge.
Pushed him to fall from grace.
A smile appeared on Hao’s lips.
He would never, ever, see that face again.
He sat in the blood bath around him. He could feel the warm ooze on his skin beginning to cool.
But… that warmth in his chest also receded.
And the pain, the heartbreak, his soul crushing reality…
…slowly set in.
Like something had been taken away, switched off, snatched from him completely.
And the blood on his skin, in his hair, on his face, his hands…
…began to grow bitterly cold.
“What… what have I done?” he painfully whispered, his eyes white.
He lifted his hands in front of him and observed his dark red palms.
His body began to shake uncontrollably.
He shakily lifted his head, startled to see an enormous eye ball directly in front of his face.
The ugly pyramid creature suspended in the air stared straight into his eyes.
Stared straight into his soul.
“We will not return. The game is set. The rest is up to you.”
Before Hao could find the words to respond to its strange declaration, the odd creature vanished.
“Hao!!!”
The sound of his little brother calling his name echoed between the vast stone walls. Hao turned his head hesitantly towards the voice.
“Yoh…” he choked out. Seeing the silhouette of his little brother at the end of the empty Patch street broke his heart.
Yoh found himself frozen.
He could see everything.
He saw his big brother’s heartbroken expression.
The disfigured bludgeoned corpse.
The blood.
So much blood.
The younger twin let out soft breath. A lump appeared in his throat.
“Oh Hao…”
Asakura Hao felt the weight of the body below him shift.
He watched in disbelief as the murdered villain’s form began to disintegrate and turn to dust.
Collective fast footsteps echoed across the stone walls. A small crowd of agitated familiar faces appeared behind Yoh.
Leading the charge, Tao Ren took several steps towards the harrowing scene in front of him. He paused and let out an audible gasp when he saw the shape of a human body evaporate in front of his eyes.
Then something occurred to the sharp minded Chinese shaman. What was the nature of this place? This Village? This world?
Was it even a living world?
“Ren - I know this might be a bad time to ask a question, but uh - ?”
“Not now, HoroHoro.” angrily interrupted Ren. “Can’t you see we have a serious problem to deal with?”
“Hey, I told you, after all we’ve been through together, you can call me Horokue.”
His friend’s words struck Ren like an invisible blade. He slowly turned around and glared at his old team mate standing directly behind him, who looked back at him with a confused smile.
“Don’t tell me, lemme guess, I’m from another world too?” softly chuckled HoroHoro as he casually unsheathed his snow board from its case, like he was readying for a fight.
“Horokue…” softly whispered Tao Ren with glistening eyes.
All alone in a helpless bloodied heap, Asakura Hao focused on the mind of his innocent little brother gazing directly at him.
An enormous stream of heightened emotions and sorrowful thoughts spilled out into the air and washed over Hao like an invisible tidal wave.
Sorrow, Confusion, Anger, Torment, Grief and…
…Fear.
Intense, mortifying, overwhelming fear.
His little brother was afraid of him.
“The vision.
It was a warning.
It’s true.
They have all forgotten you.
Yoh has forgotten you.
Hao…
They think you are…
…a monster.”
Hao watched with wide eyes as the air between him and the others suddenly swarmed with hundreds of floating red wisps, littering every corner and filling every empty dead space.
Yoh and his friends simultaneously jumped backward as they absorbed the threatening terrifying sight.
“Hao!! It’s okay!! We know what - !” screamed Yoh, but cut off his words as one by one the glowing orbs began to morph together into huge horrifying demons of hell.
The gigantic monstrous horde turned towards the group of startled shaman, churning and snarling at the feast in front of them.
“Oh geez!!” screeched Manta as he began to sprint in the opposite direction.
The others all unanimously summoned their oversouls.
The onis instantly charged.
And that was the moment Yoh realised,
The “Proxy” Shaman Fight had already begun.
“It’s not his fault!” desperately screamed Yoh as he swiftly eliminated one enormous monster that was charging down above him, shattering its form into ashes. “He’s gaining Reishi! He’s too powerful! He can’t control it!!”
“What do you mean he can’t control it?!” angrily snarled Ren, as he too skilfully brought several of the beasts to a swift end with his impressive blazing golden oversoul. “It’s Hao for God’s sake!!”
“You don’t understand!!” cried Yoh - falling back from an advance of several of the deadly creatures, finding himself back-to-back with his inter-dimensional friend as they both fought off the monsters together side-by-side. “He’s different!! He… he is just like me!! We’re the same!!”
“What are you talking about?!!!”
Yoh let out a desperate agitated grunt - he swung his “White Swan” blade in a crescent slash and de-materialised several of the vicious creatures from existence in the space all around him and his friend.
“We’re not real!!” yelled Yoh, turning towards the warrior shaman behind him. “We’re illusions Ren! Me and Hao… we’re fabricated! Copies. Fake. Whatever! His soul isn’t really a “thousand years old”… he’s just “coded” like his real self. But he… he’s just like us!!”
Yoh’s words seemed to echo and reverberate through the air and strike Tao Ren like a mighty unseen attack.
“Us? You mean - ?” he began with wide white eyes.
“All of us Ren!!” desperately replied Yoh, tears stinging his eyes. “We’re all the same! We’re all illusions!! This world isn’t real! But it wasn’t… it wasn’t supposed to be this way!! I’m so sorry!”
“And you knew about this?! Why didn’t you just tell us the truth?!”
“Because in my old world… Hao won the Shaman Fight!!!”
Yoh’s words hung in the air and then crashed all around him. He screwed up his face and then…
… he finally told the whole truth.
“The King created this world just for me and my brother...! It’s complicated, okay?! But - we just… we just wanted to make it right - for all of you - but then things got even more complicated - ”
“- by “complicated” - you mean, that we knew the truth?!” interjected Ren, “That Hao really is the Shaman King?! And you still kept your mouth shut that you knew all of this?! And the whole time - the whole time - you knew this god-forsaken place was created by your lunatic, egotistical, insanely evil God-twin?!”
“Don’t call him that! In my world, my… my Hao changed! I saved him!!”
“Oh really?!” snapped Ren, “Look around Yoh! Look at what’s happening!! Does Hao look “saved” to you?! He’s gone completely psycho! Again! And now we’re all stuck in this hellhole going through the same bullshit a second time!! And it’s all your fault!”
“We wanted to tell you! We thought everything would be okay when we got to the Village!”
“Why should I believe anything you say now? You lied to us, Yoh!”
“I know! I know I did! I’m sorry! But please… please Ren! Help me save my brother!! I’m desperate! I need you!!”
The group of powerful and highly skilled shaman continued their struggle against the mighty vicious horde, each time they each successfully defeated one of the hell borne, another one would replace it.
“Uhhh - guys?!? Maybe less talking and more fighting?!” shouted Chocolove.
“There’s too many of them!!” cried Lyserg.
“They’re getting stronger!” yelled HoroHoro.
“It’s Hao!!” screamed Jeanne. “He can’t control them! We need to get to him - we need to find a way forward!”
“We must ensure the demon is not in control!” added Faust VIII. “Or the remedy will be unsuccessful!!”
Frozen in fear and disturbed by his deadly murderous act, Hao watched helplessly as the dangerous scene he had caused unfolded in front of his eyes.
He knew there was one way he could stop his demons from hurting those he cared about.
“Hao, I can take all the pain and suffering away. Just come back to me. I’ll take care of you. I’m right here.”
Hao brought his shaking fingers to one of his ears. He carefully unhooked a reflective star and instantly brought it front of his face.
But once again, nothing changed.
The thick blood on his hands dirtied the shiny jewellery, making it impossible to see his own eyes.
Hao screwed up his face in desperation. He took in a sharp deep inhale,
“Zeke!!!”
Hearing Hao’s harrowed voice scream out the demon’s name, all the eyes of his friends swiftly turned towards him.
Lyserg and Jeanne unanimously laid their sights on the trinket in Hao’s bloodied hands.
The Iron Maiden’s acute instincts instantly pieced the puzzle together. Her mind fell back on Hao’s odd behaviour towards her attire… the diner’s reflective décor…
The detective was quick on the uptake too. He recalled the strange sudden appearance of the shiny accessories during the incident in the woods.
“”The mirrors…”” they whispered.
“Lyserg!” cried Jeanne, looking towards her friend. “I think the mirrors are a spell effect!”
Lyserg completed a swing of his deadly dousing weapon and vanquished several of the monsters before turning towards Yoh,
“Yoh!! It’s the reflections! If Hao sees his own reflection, the demon will take control again!”
Yoh once again nullified the forms of several of the horrors surrounding him and tried in vain to make an advance towards his twin before finding himself swarmed once more,
“Hao!! Stop!! Don’t!!!” he screamed, unbearable pain tinged in each single-syllable word.
The relentless overflow of silent voices, terrified emotions and painful memories emanating in the air began to consume Hao’s mind. The overwhelming noise in his head cemented him to the spot.
He covered his head with both of his hands and balled himself into a heap.
And he let out a blood curdling… soul wrenching… harrowed scream.
The disturbing sound bounced and ricocheted all around.
The oni horde began to respond to their master’s perilous cry. One by one, the gruesome snarling creatures began to dissipate and morph together, growing larger and larger.
Yoh and his friends found themselves becoming dwarfed by a huge hideous horrifying monster.
The giant ugly red oni stood head and shoulders above the surrounding Patch buildings. It opened its huge tusked mouth and let out a deep, menacing, garbled laugh.
Recognising the oni’s form immediately, Yoh was transported back to that fateful night in Ozorezan. He lowered his gaze from its twisted gruesome features and locked his eyes on the crumpled form of his big brother cowering behind it.
“Hao…” Yoh softly cried, heartbroken to see his twin suffering.
“So this is definitely “different”!” sarcastically spat the warrior shaman.
“What do we do now?!” yelled HoroHoro.
“How are we gonna defeat that thing?! It’s charged with Hao’s own furyoku!!” shrieked Chocolove.
“Brace yourselves friends! We’re gonna have to - !” loudly began Faust, but lost his words when another enormous creature came into view in the sky directly above them.
“Ascetic Perfection!!! Weasel Whirlwind Slash!!!”
The new voice screaming out from the heavens pierced the atmosphere and carried over the entire Village. All eyes were drawn to the enormous glowing magenta form of the impressive Shikigami raining down from the sky - and within moments - the rapid fast movements of its giant “Oni-slayer” blade had instantly vanquished the beast, turning its huge frightful form into ashes and dust.
The new giant creature landed gracefully in its defeated opponent’s place. It stood up tall and spread out its black angel-like wings. Its all white eyes looked down at the startled group below it, and all recognised how it seemed to be looking directly at Yoh.
Yoh froze as he looked back at the very recognisable appearance of his great ancestor’s powerful Kami-Class Spirit Ally. A small cautious smile appeared on his face.
“Yohken…?” he whispered, shakily.
Within moments, the monster that had saved them from their terrifying peril dissolved into sparkling white particles of light.
Fast footsteps broke the hushed stunned silence that had gripped the entire Village.
All turned their attention to the shaman who was sprinting towards Hao from the top of the empty street.
Shuddering and shaking in his shrivelled state on the ground, the frightened fire shaman noticed how the voices in his mind had subsided somewhat - as a calmness had returned to the surrounding space. He hesitantly lifted his head. His wide glistening eyes instantly met a pair of kind and gentle pink irises above him. And he could sense an unwavering and unafraid loving aura wrapping all around him.
Tamamura Tamao knelt down beside Asakura Hao, bringing herself eye level with him. Hao sat up a little more and gazed in amazement at the delicate face smiling so warmly at him. The pair became locked in an unspoken and pleasant trance.
After a shared peaceful moment, unafraid and unfazed by the blood staining his skin, Tamao lifted her left hand and placed it affectionately and gently against the side of Hao’s face. In response, Hao leaned his head into her gentle touch and sighed softly, closing his eyes.
“Someone once told me…” she whispered, delicately, “…that real love is accepting someone for who they are no matter what the circumstances may be…”
Hao opened his eyes at Tamao’s words and met her beautiful gentle gaze once more,
“…and I see you, Hao.”
Asakura Hao let out a soft gasp as he absorbed his own analogy spoken so softly back to him. His eyes then drifted to Tamao’s forearm. He smiled slightly when he saw her bright pink oracle pager, a device that Tamao had never been bestowed with before. He recalled the spell’s conditions that had been cast upon all the others, upon all the world - and he let out a heavy sigh of relief. Of course, Tamao herself had been unaffected!
Hao instantly wrapped his arms around the one who had saved him and relaxed completely into her embrace. His shoulders shuddered slightly as he allowed himself to cry. Tamao held him close to her. And the pair remained there together like there were no eyes watching them at all.
Asakura Yoh watched on at the heartfelt scene unfolding in front of him. Stunned and amazed at the unexpected surprise to see Tamao wielding such a powerful spirit, he decided he would save all the questions for later, and began to sprint towards his twin.
“Anna. Now!”
Yoh stopped in his tracks when he heard Tamao’s firm voice call his fiancée’s name. He once again looked up at the sky. His eyes widened when he saw what looked like a giant circle suspended in the air space directly above him. But as he focused on its shape, his eyes began to make out how it seemed to be made up of hundreds of small pearls of some kind. His eyes then drifted to one standing alone on a nearby rooftop.
“Spirits of the Asakuras. Please. Help us. Bring the light of your world to the darkness of ours. Before it’s too late.”
“Don’t be afraid Hao, this won’t hurt.” whispered Tamao.
“Okay.” he softly replied, “I trust you.”
Yoh and the others watched in awe as Anna began to perform an incantation with her fingers, she then opened her golden eyes and locked her firm gaze on the host of the dangerous demonic soul remaining perfectly still in Tamao’s arms on the ground below.
“What is she doing to him?!” cried Yoh, alarmed.
“Have no fear, Yoh.” gently replied Faust taking a step towards the worried younger Asakura twin. “This will prevent the demon from completely consuming Hao’s soul.”
Yoh looked back at the reassuring gaze of the doctor shaman.
“Will it get rid of it? Will Hao be back to normal?!” pleaded Yoh.
Faust sighed deeply in response. He then looked back at the powerful spell happening in front of his eyes.
“It will buy us some time. It’s a powerful seal. It will keep the demon locked away. I just hope we were not too late.”
Faust’s reassuring yet worrying words took Yoh’s breath away. He then looked up at his fiancée with desperate eyes - amazed to see her trying to do something he was unsure was even possible…
…she was saving Hao.
“Bind him!!” screamed Anna - commanding her cross-dimensional 1080 beads to complete her powerful ritual.
The beads began spin in the sky at lightning speed. In parallel to their circular motion, the air surrounding Hao and Tamao whipped up like an invisible tornado. All watched in amazement as the pearlescent circle in the sky began to create a force of lightning feedback - and the illusion sky itself appeared to crack and fracture in places. All shaman on the ground could feel a strange unusual energy sparking in the air all around them - until at last - after what felt like an eternity - the beads dispersed in all directions. Bringing the immensely powerful binding spell to an abrupt end.
A hush fell.
A calmness had finally returned to the Village.
Yoh looked around at all of his friends who, despite everything, had done everything in their power to help him and his twin. He shared in their satisfied and relieved expressions. And just as Yoh was about to finally go to his twin’s side, he noticed how another familiar face had appeared amongst the others and was hiding sheepishly behind HoroHoro’s right leg.
“Hey,” Yoh sighed, smiling. “Come, we’ll go to him together.”
Yoh held out his hand towards her.
The little girl accepted it.
Tao Ren watched them go with crossed arms and an aspirated sigh. After a second or so, his attention was pulled towards the small human of their group, who had reappeared with an unfamiliar face by his side.
“Hey, uh, guys? I really think you need to hear this kid out.” said Manta, awkwardly. He looked up at the fierce expression of the fair haired shaman standing beside him, who seemed to be transfixed on the scene unfolding in front of him.
Tamao got to her feet and held out both of her hands to the exhausted one kneeling on the ground. Hao slipped his hands into hers and stood up too. Now face to face with interlocked hands, the two extremely powerful shaman seemed to be in a world of their own as they gazed at one another in complete silence. An invisible pull was drawing them together, but after a moment, they both turned in unison towards the pair coming towards them.
Hao’s body became rigid when he saw his little brother’s face.
Yoh immediately picked up on Hao’s subtle strange manner towards him. He then realised the little hand he was holding was pulling him in the opposite direction.
Opacho had frozen herself to the spot and did not move an inch. She locked her big glistening eyes on her doting guardian’s face.
Concerned, Yoh looked down at the toddler’s worried expression.
“Opacho?” he breathed, trying to sound as reassuring as possible. “It’s okay Opacho - Hao is - ”
“That’s not Hao-sama.” whimpered the little girl by Yoh’s side. “Hao-sama is no longer here.”
Yoh inhaled sharply at the little girl’s familiar words. A horrifying unwanted memory flashed across the forefront of his mind. He felt a sharp pang in his chest as he tried to push the horrible vision in his head down. Far, far down. He then hesitantly turned back to his twin’s face and observed his traumatised, confused and heartbroken eyes.
“What…?” painfully whispered Hao, taking a step back from his mortified twin.
“No. Hao. Listen. It’s not real. It was just a vision!” hastily explained Yoh. He let go of Opacho’s fingers and attempted to reach for Hao’s hand - but his big brother snatched himself away from his grip, taking another step back away from him.
Opacho began to cry loud heartbroken wails. Tamao quickly went to the child’s side and tried to console her.
That incessant ringing in Hao’s eardrums returned as he watched his world fall apart in front of his eyes once more…………..
“They are not your friends.”
“They were NEVER your friends.”
“All they see is a dangerous monster.”
“They have all turned against you.
Yoh has turned against you.
He’s forgotten you.
He wants to destroy you.
You saw it for yourself.
You can’t trust him.
But you can trust me, Hao.
I will protect you.
I will ALWAYS be here for you.
You and me.
We belong together.
We are the same.
NO ONE knows you better than me.
Hao…
I am you.
You are me.
Together.
We are whole.
Together…

…We are one.”
The Asakura twins were transfixed on one another in a foreboding uncomfortable silence. Yoh could sense in his heart and soul that something was still very, very wrong.
Yoh took a cautious step towards Hao. As he did - he noticed how his twin’s gaze was distant and his eyes seemed to look straight through him.
“Nii-chan…?”
Now standing directly in front of his big brother, Yoh gazed deeply into those big beautiful brown eyes that perfectly mirrored his own.
Yoh let out a horrified gasp.
Hao’s pupils began to bleed into his sparkling golden and brown irises like black ink.
Until his eyes resembled two,
All black…
Bottomless…
Voids.
Yoh watched in horror as those eyes came to life and locked onto his alarmed gaze.
“You are not my Yoh.” angrily sneered Hao.
“What?” breathed Yoh, barely audibly.
The disturbing scene was interrupted by the arrival of the long awaited Patch Tribe.
Each officiant looked on at the group of startled shaman with expressionless eyes.
Patch Chieftain Goldva’s strict and firm voice echoed out across the entire Patch Village:
“The “Proxy” Shaman Fight will now commence. All eligible shaman will be contacted in due course - be they with or without an oracle pager in their possession - we shall see to it they all receive a formal invitation - by order of The Shaman King.”
At that moment, every pager in the space rang out all at once.
Hao lifted his left arm and observed the screen of his new fully functioning device,
Welcome to The Shaman Fight: Asakura Hao
“Heh,” sighed Hao with a small smile.
Without hesitation, Hao took several long strides away from the others - and within seconds - he summoned the blood red Spirit of Fire’s Ultimate Form - which seamlessly elevated him high above the ground…
Alone.
“Hao!!”
Asakura Hao opened his hand and observed his own eyes in the sparkling reflective star in his palm. When nothing happened, he grinned - before fixing the mirrored accessory back in its rightful place. He then took a moment to glance down at his blood red stained attire. He reached for the yellow star patch and spitefully ripped it off in one swift move, throwing it to the wind. He then removed his blood soddened shirt and disposed of that swiftly too.
Standing at the foot of the giant fire demon, Yoh watched the falling yellow star float to the ground and land in the dirt in front of him.
“No… no no no… please… Please! Hao!! Don’t leave me!! I can’t… I can’t lose you!!!” agonisingly screamed the younger twin.
“You haven’t lost me! I am not yours!!” angrily snapped the elder twin.
Hao clenched his fists. Clenched his jaw. The anger and torment emanating from his heart flowed all over him.
He could barely bring himself to look down at those gathered below him.
“I will put this right. I will fix this. I will bring my little brother back to me again. No matter what it takes!!”
“We’ll do it together. We’ll be together. That way, you won’t ever be alone again.”
Those words flowed through every inch of Hao’s body and soul, tantalising him, electrifying him - snapping him awake and grounding him within this brand new form.
He had never felt more real in his whole life.
“You’d do that for me? Why?” audibly replied Hao with a slight smile.
Hearing his big brother’s spoken words, Yoh’s eyes widened.
“Hao! No!! No!! Don’t listen to him!! Hao!!”
A pleasant flow of invisible comfort began to pulsate throughout Hao’s veins like burning hot lava. He craned his head back and inhaled deeply through his nostrils, absorbing every bit of the warm addictive overpowering sensation. The feeling of his soft wind-caught hair tickling his naked neck and shoulders mimicked the invisible gentle touch of a hand gliding across his skin.
“Because… you are MINE... that’s why.”
Asakura Hao calmly lifted his head. A small pleasant smile appeared on his lips. He slowly lifted his left forearm and briefly observed his blood red operational pager once more. He spread open his fingers. His onyx coloured irises sparkled with delight as a flicker of a naked flame appeared within his palm.
“Yes.” he replied with a satisfied grin.
The Spirit of Fire took to the sky.
“Nii-chan!! Come back!! It’s me!! I am your brother!! I haven’t gone anywhere!!!”
Tamao fell to her knees.
“We were too late.”
“HAO!!!!!”
The light of the horizon,
Was brighter yesterday.
Shadows floating over,
Scars begin to fade.
You said it was forever but then it slipped away…
Standing at the end of…
The Final Masquerade.
