Yoichi's earliest memory is listening to his mother sing to him as a young child, melodies from egypt.
Headcanon/Fact 11
Who are their parents? Biologically and socially.
Biological Father: Gin Ichimaru Biological Mother: Ament Mubarak
Social Father: None Social Mother: Rangiku Matsumoto
Consequences
Put one of these words in my ask and I'll write a headcanon about it for my character.
Consequences
Yoichi is well aware of the things he does and will take the consequences that come with them; whether its disobeying an order or leaving his post without permission, he tends to not care. He is well aware that even though he is young, they won't hold that against him and he has been threatened to be thrown in the Maggot's Nest more than a few times.
Death
Death
Yoichi doesn’t do well with death, he actually hates that about being a shinigami. His mindset is still rather innocent, so to see such amount of death, it puts him on edge and as a result, he tries to keep what he feels; resulting in him having the cold, unemotional look.
Memories,Lies,Accent
Memories
Yoichi doesn’t have many happy memories, but nor does he have many bad ones either. He has a lot of memories that he cherishes over the years while living in the Soul Society.
Lies
Yoichi does not like liars, being lied to, or having to lie. He can tell when someone was lying to him, and as a end result, he will do one of two things: Call you out on your lying, or use some form of punishment (if they happen to be a lower seating officer or unseating member.)
Accent
Like Gin, Yoichi has the Kyoto-ben accent, which he had learned from mimicking Gin as a child. Because of this, his words tend to be shorter or even the use of different words (in Japanese)
30 Days of Character Development. (Final!)
25.) Describe your character’s hands. Are they small, long, calloused, smooth, stubby?
Yoichi has surprisingly small palms with long fingers (much like Gin's own), and his fingers and palms are lightly calloused from using his sword over the years.
26.) Second day of favorites! Favorite comfort food? favorite vice? favorite outfit? favorite hot drink? favorite time of year? favorite holiday?
Favorite comfort food: Ice cream
Favorite Vice(Wasn't to sure about this? So I'm just going to go for the bleach fandom): His 'Ka-san of course!
Favorite outfit: Thought he isn't particular with what he wears, he prefers to stick to the classy gentlemen look. (unless it's unbearably hot, then it's tank and shorts for him!)
Favorite hot drink: Tea!
Favorite time of the year: Fall, for many reasons, not just because his birthday is in the fall.
Favorite holiday: Halloween.
27.) Pick two songs that describe your character at two different points of their life, and explain why you chose them.
The first song that would describe a point in Yoichi's life would be Dad's Song by Set it off. The reason being is that when Gin was killed in the Winter War, Yoichi went through a period of him being drawn away from everyone. No one would get through to him--for Gin was the really person he would go to when he was truly troubled. Though, eventually, because of this, Rangiku had finally had broken down Yoichi's emotional wall and for the first time, Yoichi had opened up to her. Since then, Yoichi has had a close relationship with her.
The second song that would describe a point in Yoichi's life would be Misguided Ghosts by Paramore. This was a point in Yoichi's life/Training where he had to figure out just who he was, and chose to take a mission in the Living World that would involve him being there for more than a couple of months, despite Yoichi being told not to do it. He felt like he needed to see who he was for himself, so this was his way of doing it.
28.) If your character’s life was a genre, what would it be?
(*Haha*) It would be an Action/Drama genre.
29.) How does your character smell? Do they wear perfume or cologne?
Yoichi jokes when he needs a shower, stating that he smells like an Egyptian (to which his mother was full blood Egyptian who are quite clean O.o).
Yoichi actually does wear a cologne. It kinda has that fresh smell to it. (If you've smell Axe Essence, then that's what it pretty much smells like.)
30.) And finally: Write a letter to your character, from yourself.
Yoichi,
Man, where to begin? You're been my outlet for a lot of things in the past year that it would be considered ridiculous, complicated and downright mind boggling; but at the same time, it's because of you (As the character) that I've met some pretty amazing people out there. I've experienced what it's like to lose friends over something as ridiculous as a URL being similar ect.
This fandom had pulled me through some of the toughest parts of my life and because I thank you, Yoichi. As troublesome as you've been the last couple of months to revive you, you suddenly came back with the motive to stay, to which I'm glad. There will be days that are just slow and boring, so you just chill there and watch to see if anything will happen. Sometimes something new and exciting, other times not so much.
But thank you, for giving me the experience of my life to further my thinking, my writing skills and to plan a head.
Your Mundane,
Kris.
Headcanon/Fact 10
Even though Rumi (June 24) is technically older than Yoichi (October 3th), Yoichi still acts like the older sibling and therefore normally states that he's actually older--when in reality, he isn't. (He's just the older twin brother.)
