Yuri on Ice Music Week 1990s. I decided to do a series of doodles based on the song Fine Time by Eraserheads. It’s a Filipino band, so I am not sure how many people know this. But listen and you’d understand why I picked it.

Summary: But Yuri is drunk and Yuri is angry and that’s a combination from hell. Otabek wants to kiss his glittery gloss lips and dance a little with him or take him home on his bike but Yuri got his hackles raised and looks like he will punch Otabek if he tries to calm him down by kissing him. Or: Yuri and Otabek are one of those couples in a hate-love relationship. 6th September: 1980s

7th September: 1990s

8th September: 2000s

9th September: 2010s

10th September: Free day

Works for the week can be fic, art, edits, cosplay etc., and you are welcome to choose any song you like as inspiration for your work as long as the original release date was in the decade you are creating your work for. You do not, however, have to base your work in the decade that you are creating your work for - i.e., a work based on a song from the 90s does not actually have to be set in the 90s. For the free day, you can choose a piece of music from any point in history.

Written for Yuri On Ice Music Week Day 1: 1960s

Oh, since the day I saw you I have been waiting for you You know I will adore you 'til eternity

It takes several attempts for Otabek to successfully ask Yuri Plisetsky out.

The first time, Yuri thinks he's joking.

"Yeah, right, good one, Beka. You almost had me there. Hey, do you have any suggestions for my free skate music yet?"

The second time, Yuri thinks he's asking out Mila.

"I didn't even realise you liked her."

"I do-"

"Guess people are full of surprises, huh?"

The third time, Yuri doesn't hear him because he's got his headphones on.

The fourth, Yuri stares at him with a confused expression on his face before he eventually blurts out a "Fuck no."

The fifth, Yuri laughs awkwardly and asks if Otabek's being serious.

"Of course not!" Otabek replies with a nervous laugh. "Me and you? Going out? Completely ridiculous! Stupidest thing I've ever heard!"

Otabek leaves it for a while. Then, in the park in Barcelona that started it all, he asks again and there's no confusion about what he's talking about.

And Yuri?

He says yes.
