"I was trying to see how long it’d take for you to notice me, but then I got bored! Talking to people is much more fun!"

Rei ran up to Durbe’s side, nearly tripping over his feet as he did so (though it wasn’t that much of a run).

"What are you up to?"

Durbe quickly took a step to the side, away from Rei, not wishing to be accidentally rammed into. He never understood how that kid could have so much energy all the time.

"I'm going home to work on homework, what else would I be doing after school?" Durbe asked, not really expecting an answer. He was slightly hoping that the mention of such a bore would scare Rei off so he could do his work in peace.

Rei quietly appeared behind Durbe, following in his footsteps, quite literally, before greeting the barian. "Hello Durbe!"

Durbe, not expecting the sudden follower, quickly whipped around to see who it was, relieved to find out it was only Rei.

"Don’t scare me like that," he rubbed the back of his neck, "But is there any reason you’re following me?"
