I think that mecha tend to signal power and are able to destroy a bunch of stuff, and in a lot of ways the 08th MS team demonstrates vulnerability. It’s hard to reconcile those two. The way the medium is set up is that those who want to make or watch mecha anime don’t get to see a real war or a human drama as much as a badass dude in a much more badass mech.

which playthrough are you on? it gets progressively more depressing the more you play (R)

This will be my 4th play through in total, but it'll be the full playthrough because it's on a new system (PS3 instead of 360). Which means I have to meet everyone again. Noooooo. I plan on going through a full 4 tiime playthough now, though.

Starting a new play through of this game is destroying my soul. Especially the diary loading screens.
