Yogurt, but on a stick? You've got my attention...
The makers of a personal favourite of mine, Cheestrings, has a brand new food innovation for families to enjoy. Revolutionising the humble yogurt, Yollies are a fruity, dairy delight, on a stick! And, unlike other recent yogurt trends, this yogurt lolly is not frozen.
I know my nieces well, and they will totally revel in the novelty of what is seemingly a 'treat' but, look to be extra-thick deliciously fruity yogurts made from real fruit puree. I mean, while they do love a yogurt, they seldom manage to get the whole pot's worth in their mouths so this could be just what what's needed - although, Nyah does own the look, wouldn't you agree?
Containing no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives they are a good source of Calcium & Vitamin D – essential for healthy bones and with three flavours to choose from (Strawberry, Raspberry and Apricot) this ‘no spoons needed’ option is perfect for picnics and lunch boxes. Perfect for our upcoming weekend break to Butlins at the end of the month.
Available in Asda from August 2014, costing around £2, Each pack of four, features one of 16 individual characters on collectable sticks, so there’s loads more fun to be had for the little ones.
