Tbh Dave & Kar had better development in the Game Over timeline. With the way they started to change towards each other over time, I actually was interested to see where those two would go until the retcon wiped all of it away, but still stuck em together anyways? So I do like their relationship, just not what it ended up being. Also Vris spying on them like some kind of fujioshi voyeur was....eh...

that’s been a pretty common sentiment I’ve seen. Dave/kat had genuine intrigue when it was more about two rambling assholes who constantly switch between fighting and weird flirting. Not nearly as fun when its about two dudes sitting on the couch because they’re gay. Plus if you can’t have Davekat without the Penis Ouiji what’s the point? 

and re:vriska, I wouldn't say she was really a fujo in that scene. She looked more annoyed. or like she was up to something.

I'll say at least one thing I look back on fondly about GT was the SSJ4 form. That was honestly a dope design & I wish more Super Saiyan forms implemented more monkey/ape details like that one did.

Personally, I’m not a big fan.   I don’t hate it, but it looks so different from SSJ1 through 3 that I don’t feel like it makes sense to call it Super Saiyan 4.    They should have given it a new name or something.   Like, they don’t call Ultra Instinct “Super Saiayn God 3″ or “Super Saiyan White” or anything like that.   Not everything has to be a Super Saiyan.

It is kind of a thing where it might have helped if Goku had done cooler stuff with the form, to sell me on it.    I wasn’t too big on Super Saiyan 1 when I first saw it, but once I watched Goku turn the tables on Frieza with it, it became cool.   I thought Super Saiyan 3 looked goofy until I found out what it was and why it was on the show, and the theme music helped a lot.   

The big problem I have with SSJ4 is that Goku would use it and still get beat, and then he’d change back to normal and keep fighting anyway, and do reasonably okay.    There was never a sense that he needs the form just to keep up, like there was with the others.    When 19 defeated Goku, he eventually powered down, and that was when everyone knew he was in trouble.   Super Saiyan 2 was given the same build, because Gohan could do things in that form that none of the others could do without it.   And when Goku couldn’t maintain SSJ3 against Kid Buu, he and Vegeta knew they were never going to win a head-to-head fight.   

SSJ4 never really got that kind of credibility.   There was no sense that this is the fourth one, and the bad guy must be mighty indeed if Goku has to resort to this.

Jesus I'm glad I don't keep up with HS2, GIVE MY GIRL KAN A REST, DAMN! They were kinda holdin canon & married Rosemary up on their shoulders in a "OOH MARRIED LESBIANS, LOOK HOW AWESOME WE ARE, EH?" kinda way, but now it's like they're punishing everyone for caring about anything ever? Like it wants to be this ""more progressive"" Finna Woke shit but also keep being Edgy in their own way in an attempt to emulate old HS too, & it's creating this weird clash & making almost no one happy.

It’s hard for me to explain but I find what makes this so offensive is how it literally had no impact on ANYTHING aside from Jade now having a Kid to be in danger. and I guess making jane look bad because She’s Evil You See.

The whole fallout from this is that Kanaya was slightly upset, but she’s and Rose talked about it and now things are okay. You know, in spite of the fact that Rose admitted that her pregnancy was done “physically” and raised Yiffy in secret with Jade for fifteen GODDAMN years.

Sometimes I see Vris/rezi folks acting all high & mighty, complaining about other ships being problematic & all that jazz, & every time I laugh cause it's like the pot calling the kettle black. I love those two being together same as them, but you can't deny it's one of the... messiest relationships in HS in more ways than one, but I can admit the messy "problematic-ness" of it is what makes it interesting to follow XD Idk, I just think it's weird/hypocritical when they get on their high horse.

TBH it’s very strange to me that so many people push the idea that Terezi had the best relationship with Vriska (Even putting it over Karkat and Dave) considering… uh

Plus Terezi being responible for vriska losing an eye and a arm

I wouldnt say its a bad ship of course, but I suppose I dont have the best opinion of it after seeing it’s extremists pimp it out as the ideal TZ relationship. Or vriska relationship, for that matter.

(And personally, they are far more interesting as straight up rivials to me, kismesissitude or not.)
