What started as a very quick, simple AU concept for Day 4: Sailor/Siren of Shinnaga Week 2025 turned into a way overblown 18th century Little Mermaid Shinnaga AU that took a while to plan but that I'm also now crazy about lol 👀

In short, my idea is that Angie is a Polynesian (Tahitian, to be specific) high priest and artist trying to convert more followers to her religion. While Korekiyo is a siren who has been turned "human" by his sister to kill human girls in Edo period Japan.

I am NOTTTT the original creator of Shinnaga week and this is very obviously not the originally week either!! But I simply wanted to create my own Shinnaga week to try to revive the Shinnaga fandom since the previous Shinnaga week hasn't been active in YEARSSSSS....

Sorry to post only a month and a half before but I was debating hardcore whether to do this or not!! I decided I might as well though after talking with the previous Shinnaga week's cohost(?) I assume, @snellyfish!

Shinnaga Week 2025 - Day 1: Goth/Gyaru

Only found out about Shinnaga Week like 3 days before it was going to start lol, so I had to ✨LOCK IN✨ to get this done on time (was actually going to do a basic redraw of the Kiss instead of just plopping it in, but I ran out of steam)

Might be a little late with some of the later entries BUT that's a problem for future me 🫡

For Kiyo, I took inspo from romantic goth and Angie got ganguro gyaru!!

Shinnaga Week 2025 - Day 3: Free Day Outfit Swap!

I was originally going to do something more angsty or thought-out, but I ended up using all that brain power on Day 4 (which I probably spent wayy too much time researching info for lol)

But anyways, enjoy seeing Kiyo and Angie swapping outfits with the rare addition of actually getting to see Kiyo's whole entire face!!

Shinnaga Week 2025 - Day 2: Video Game AU

I had no clue what game to do only to then get like unexpectedly super inspired and put in wayyy more effort than I planned on this one oof... Anyways, I decided to do an AU of my favorite game: Our Life: Now & Forever!

For those who don't know, it's basically an indie visual novel game on itch.io (free demo) that's very choice-heavy and customizable!

The characters go through different "steps" to show them as they grow up and you can even customize your relationship with the love interests (e.g., teamworking, etc.)... SO YEP!
