(For the 5 headcanons thing) Thanos?
Alright I’m going to try my best with this one because I don’t know much about Thanos outside of the Guardians movies (and in both Avengers movies too though it’s been a long time since I’ve seen them) so hopefully I did these well enough <3
He’s obviously power hungry and has no issues stepping over the weak in order to get his way.
Even so he seems to want to have others do the dirty work for him, preferring not to have to lift a finger.
This is perhaps why he’s so unforgiving with Gamora and Nebula. He makes them fight and when Nebula loses he removes her body parts and replaces them with machinery under the guise of trying to make her stronger.
Perhaps he initially favors Gamora over Nebula because he sees elements of himself in her, or at least he himself believes it. I’m sure Gamora would greatly oppose it.
In fact, there might have been some possibility that Thanos felt some sort of connection with Gamora and Nebula and that’s why he didn’t murder them along with the rest of their races? It seems sad when you think about it in that sense but it’s possible. Even with his motives being that he wanted them to become powerful, there had to have been some reason other than that as to why he bothered taking them under his wing in the first place.
