Wandering Child || Eunmi and Yoohwan
When Choi Minhwa said he had spotted a talented kid unlike any other, Eunmi hoped he wasn't being biased. He hardly gushed over people who weren't athletes unless they were really cute or really special. Eunmi knew that Minhwa had taken in a runaway heir and that her best friend was doing all he could to help the boy out. She couldn't wait to see Minhwa's "charity case," who happened to be the student he was personally endorsing to her. She hoped he was helping the boy because he had potential, and not because he found the boy attractive. Although Choi Minhwa was rather aloof on the field, the athlete also had a hidden weakness: pretty boys with a killer aegyo. She couldn't help but think that the boy was taking advantage of Minhwa's generosity as she drove to the building where her best friend lived with his new friend. She wondered how true it was that the boy really was a runaway heir. That could have just been something he made up on the spot as he got caught. What if he was a member of some syndicate? Eunmi decided that it was better to chew out her best friend in person rather than by phone, so she decided to clear her schedule for today to meet this boy Minhwa's been gushing about.
When she arrived at the building he lived in, she merely gave the receptionist her friend's condominium number. She could see the curious expression on the girl's face. Great... another rumormonger. She swiftly made her way up to the 18th floor and rang the doorbell to Minhwa's building. "OPEN UP, ACE!" she said, beating at the door like it was no one's business. If there was anyone else living on that floor, then they would have gotten the shock of their lives watching the Royal Princess get all violent on a door and shouting up a storm. She decided to use an old threat they often used on each other in high school. "If you don't, I'll break this door down and steal your frog plushie!" Minhwa still SLEPT with that plushie he's had since he was two. Although Eunmi often teased him about it, she liked how he was sentimental. "Just open up, Ace... I'm dying to meet your newest boyfriend." She laughed as she heard footsteps making their way to the door.
