I spent the entire day thinking (while also trying not to think too much) about hyunsik enlisting and I can only come to one conclusion- I'm glad he and sungjae are going together and glad that they're really committed to being reunited as soon as possible, for their 10th anniversary. They're really following through with their plan to enlist in two waves- the hyung line early last year and now the maknaes (plus hyunsik). The only thing left is ilhoon's announcement but it's any day now. It's so admirable that they did it this way bc not only does it show their commitment to not leaving peniel alone, it shows how determined they are to be ot7 again, to be with melodies again 🥺

On a personal note, I haven't cried today, yay lol. I think the shock of sungjae's announcement sort of took the edge off of today's news. Next week, when they actually leave though... 😭😭😭 I'm not ready to see these babies with their shaved/super short hair 😭😭😭

hi anon!! i missed your questions ^^ well, if you’ve been around my blog long enough, you know my favorite btob pairing is minhyuk/hyunsik (minsik).

my love for them originates from the fact that i had THE hardest time deciding which one of them was my true bias when i became a melody years ago. I ended up learning so much about the two of them and naturally loved their interactions together. although they’re both different from each other, I’ve always felt they had a similar vibe/energy.

also, on such a day where we’re counting the hours till they enlist together, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that I really love hyunsik/sungjae (yooksik) as well 😥

i’m not just saying this bc of the timing, i’ve honestly loved the relationship they have where sungjae seems to have the most reverence for hyunsik, of all his hyungs. he’s consistently praised hyunsik for writing their songs to where it feels genuinely like a little brother looking up to his big brother 💖 plus, they’re both xNTP types so i’m soft for that.

as for future btob concepts i’d like to see... definitely something that’s not “fall” related lol. what i mean is they’ve done so many ballads (missing you, beautiful pain- that’s just two but you get my point lol) where they basically had to wear sweaters and long coats that i want something different. i’m not saying i don’t want anymore ballads but i’m d y i n g for them to sport a different visual concept. how about an angsty track where they get to look sexy? or a chic, badass song where they wear suits/tuxes? i know if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, but after watching pentagon do dr.bebe and exo do obsession, i’m D Y I N G for btob to try something like that.
