Eunkwang initially thinks that the message is a joke
He really doesn’t think you’re serious
In fact he completely disregards it for a bit even if it doesn’t settle the best with him
It’s not until he get a moment of rest from whatever he’s doing that he realizes you haven’t texted back saying it was a simple joke
So he just straight up leaves without a word to call you
And you actually pick up
He’s all laughs trying to make sure that it’s a joke
And the laughs die down when he realizes you are being far too silent
“You’re breaking up with me through a text? Are you serious?”
Minhyuk:
Minhyuk immediately calls you once he sees the message come through
He doesn’t even actually open it and just read it from his notifications
He’s marching down to his car
Phone at his ear as he dials you over and over again
Shrugging on his jacket since he just left the gym or his house without much else
He needs to get to you and get to the bottom of this
You however are not answering
“Baby, please pick up. This isn’t real right? You don’t mean that?”
Changsub:
Changsub sees the message and proceeds to open it and just stare at it for hours
He’s already at home so there’s no one else around but Guri but she’s asleep
He doesn’t move from his spot on the couch
He doesn’t call or text you
Not for a while that is
He doesn’t want to make matters worse
But he does want answers
Eventually he does rise from the couch and moves to the balcony sliding the door closed behind him and leaning against the rails
Phone at his ear eyes closing as he hears the telltale sound of the call being answered
“H-hey, I um…Sorry. Do you really mean that? Did I do something?”
Hyunsik:
Maybe I’m just angsty now
But you text Hyunsik shortly after the two of you had met up for lunch
During which you were relatively fine in his eyes
No signs of the storm that was about to hit when he saw your name pop up with a message
Cue him screeching to a halt mid walk and heading back in the direction he came from
Fingers already clicking on your contact as he runs down the sidewalk
You break up with him
Fine
But tell him to his face
“Pick up, pick up, pick up…”
Peniel:
Peniel’s brows furrow instantly as he tunes out of whatever conversation Ashley and Junny were having
His eyes keep scanning the text over and over again
He has half the mind to email you saying your phone was hacked or something
Instead he sends back a reply needing to make sure it’s actually you texting him
It is
Excusing himself he goes out and calls you
Three times he calls you before you finally pick up
“Did I do something? Can you tell me why?”
Sungjae:
Sungjae is spiraling as he goes from laughing with his friends to panicking in the bathroom trying to reach you
The text didn’t say anything besides you break up
And he’s racking his brain over what could’ve led to this moment
Not that you need to give him a reason but….
He just saw you two days ago and you were all smiles
Taking a deep breath he just accepts the tone and leaves a message
He’ll call you again in an hour or maybe in a day to let you both really process
“Hey, um…it’s me. I just…can we meet up and talk about this please? I know you don’t owe me anything but I would like to know why?”
