Summary: After sleeping through his stop on the subway and then getting caught in a downpour a small coffee shop was Jungkook's only escape. He wasn't sure why but he immediately felt welcome in this new space. The handsome barista who let him chose his drink in peace was incredibly kind and once Jungkook met his adorable black cat he just couldn't resist returning regularly.
Delicious pastries, hot chocolate with whipped cream and petting a cute cat would make everyone's day better and he loved to talk with Seokjin. Especially whenever he talked about his husband who must be an amazing person as well. Jungkook wondered if he would ever get to meet this mysterious man.

Summary: Yoongi isn't someone who would jump at the opportunity to comfort other people since he really wasn't the best at doing that but that boy just reminded him so much of how he had felt when he had first come to Hogwarts. Maybe he just had to jump over his own shadow for once.

Yoongi was convinced he was about to die.
Yes, this would be his end.
He had no idea how on earth he had survived asking Kim Seokjin aka the most beautiful, funny and gorgeous human being on earth out. He had no idea, he didn’t know how he hadn’t just ascended to the sky right there and then but apparently he had done something because the next thing he could remember is getting waste with the model from next door, watching Say Yes To The Dress and judging each and every bride on the screen while drinking wine and hiccupping occasionally.
Somehow he had survived that evening but now he wasn’t sure if he’d survive this very evening.
The first part of the apocalypse had already started: his wardrobe.
Why did he not own even a single piece of fancy attire? He had a suit for The Special Occasional and while a date with Kim Seokjin was very much a Special Occasion he didn’t want to be That Weirdo who turned up to the first date in a suit.
Who even did that?
Anyway, so Yoongi was currently having a mental breakdown because the Ass Jeans, according to Jeon Jungkook, were probably not the right choice but the Lazy Jeans probably weren’t right either.
Yoongi couldn’t remember the last time he had gone out on a date but he was very much convinced that he had not owned Ass or Lazy Jeans at the time and that his mom had probably chosen an outfit for him.
He had thought about calling his mom in a panic but no, he was a grown ass (Ass) man who could chose his own pair of jeans without the help of anyone.
- 2 minutes later -
“I’d say go for the Ass Jeans,” Namjoon said while Yoongi was biting on his thumb nervously. “Really?” he asked unsurely and the other hummen on the other end of the line. “I mean, yeah, why now? Mr. Hottie will be snatched like a snack if you show up in the Lazy Jeans.”
Yoongi whined. “Shit, you’re right.”
Namjoon hummed again. “When am I not?”
Ringing Seokjin’s bell was like announcing his own downfall publicly. He stood there in front of the door, Ass Jeans in place and his heart somewhere in his stomach. He didn’t have the patience to go look for it.
God he was so fucking nervous, maybe he should ask the cat grandma from down the hall to accompany them.
He shook his head. No, he could do this, he was a grown ass (Ass) man!
With a shaky hand he pressed the bell and held his breath, especially as he could hear footsteps approaching the door. It swung open and Yoongi would lie if he didn’t imagine a dramatic choir singing in the background as he laid eyes upon the one and only Kim Seokjin.
“Hey.”
The choir shut up immediately, replaced by Seokjin’s heavenly voice and his beautiful smile.
“Hey,” Yoongi managed to wheeze and Seokjin escaped a small snicker. “Wait a sec, I just need to grab my jacket.” He disappeared around the corner for a moment and came back with a jeans jacket and slipped it on.
He looked amazing.
“Okay, Romeo,ready to go?”
Shit, was it too late to ask the grandma to come with them?
Or to run maybe?
Should he call Namjoon again?
“Hey, don’t be nervous,” Seokjin said with a soft laugh. “You look good and we’ll have a nice evening, come on.” He grabbed his hand and pulled him along towards the elevator and Yoongi couldn’t even think properly.
Oh my- hdiadubwg he’s holding MY HAND!
He was feeling so hot and his cheeks were probably beet red and his hands were most certainly shaking but all he could think about was ‘wow… his hands are so soft’.
Yoongi’s brain did something strange and as the elevator doors opened he squeaked out a high-pitched “T-thanks, y-y-you too” and it took Seokjin a second to understand but when he did he just smiled. “Thank you.”
He didn’t let go of the younger’s hand and while Yoongi had calmed down a little bit - this always happened when someone was holding his hand - he still couldn’t believe Kim Seokjin was actually there with him, going out on a date, holding his fucking hand.
They went to a small family restaurant not too far from their apartment complex which Seokjin apparently really liked. As soon as they had set down he started talking about the menu, pointing things out that were especially delicious and things Yoongi just had to try no matter what. In the end they ordered just a bunch of everything and decided to share their food so both could have a bit of everything.
It was embarrassing to admit but Yoongi couldn’t really communicate properly for the first twenty minutes, stuttering his way through sentences and spacing out because he was too busy staring at Seokjin’s beautiful face to realize that he had been asked a question,
It got a bit better once the food was served because Seokjin talked about that enthusiastically and Yoongi had something to keep him focused.
Afterwards his head was a little clearer and he managed to uphold a proper conversation while they sipped their cocktails and talked about this and that.
Seokjin told him about funny shootings for magazines and Yoongi talked about some of the strange clients he has hat, especially weddings where the bride had completely lost it and had gone crazy with different poses and pictures.
The older laughed as he told him about how one of those brides had wanted dogs for the shoot and one of the dogs had then proceeded to pee onto her dress.
“Oh my god,” Seokjin hiccupped. “I’m so sorry for that woman but that’s just too funny,” he said in between laughter and Yoongi smiled. It felt good to be the reason for the other’s laugh and he really, really enjoyed hearing the squeaky sound.
“This reminds me of this one time I had a shoot with dogs and I don’t know why but one of them had diarrhea and another one was puking all over the place and it was such a mess.” He snickered as he thought back to that particular day. “Everyone was freaking out and there was dog poop everywhere, it was awful.” That’s what he said but he was still laughing at the memory.
“The poor dogs,” Yoongi said sadly and Seokjin squealed with laughter. “Exactly what I was thinking,” he agreed and wiped the corner of his eyes, needing a moment to calm down again.
They decided to take a walk in the park close by and sat down on a bench, watching a duck with her ducklings making their way to the river.
“This was a nice evening,” Seokjin said and Yoongi hummed softly un agreement. “I’d like to do this again.”
“Me too,” the younger said softly and Seokjin turned his head to smile at him.
- 5 months later -
“Good morning boyfriend.”
Yoongi groaned and rolled over.
“Rise and shine, my adorable sushi roll.”
Yoongi just whined.
“My cute little cookie.”
“Stooop,” the younger groaned and smothered his face in a pillow.
Seokjin snickered happily and slapped his lover’s ass through the sheets before leaving the bedroom. “Get your sexy ass out of these sheets and let me appreciate my fine man while I eat my breakfast!”
Yoongi whined again and kicked his feet but crawled out of bed anyway, following Seokjin to the kitchen - but just because he was craving coffee of course. He rubbed at his eyes with his sleeve covered fist and took the cup of coffee from the elder’s hand as he offered it to him.
“Thanks,” he slurred, voice still hoarse from sleep.
“You’re a mess,” Seokjin teased as he got a good look at his boyfriend who was wearing a soft pink hoodie that belonged to the older and a pair of boxers with some fluffy socks on his feet. “A cute mess… my mess,” he said almost proudly and Yoongi, finally a bit more awake after some sips of coffee, nuzzled into the elder’s neck.
Seokjin kissed his cheek and ran a hand through the younger’s messy hair.
“Love you, baby,” he said softly and Yoongi hummed happily. “Love u too.”
