Matt seemed to spend a lot of time at his computer slaving over writing that he so much adored. It was a hobby. A lovely gift he was given, to be able to write so skillfully. To paint a picture with words on a screen. He wrote his story with many subplots, all weaving together to create one. Matt called his world HereAfter. In this world, Matt wrote about clocks that allowed one to travel through time. The gold-plated clock glistened when the sun hit it. He wrote of a man from the past, forced into an unfamiliar world with future memories that came from before his past. His only familiarity was the singular rose in his pocket. He wrote of another person from the future, forced to the same strange world. Matt, compelled to introduce a new objective for his world, brandished a light blue clock. The sun refused to glare off of it and it burned to the touch. Matt was quite pleased with this design and carefully set it down in the world, allowing the world to register it and cause a reaction. The man from the future, donning a sweater and a pair of feathery blue and red wings, started to remember memories that weren’t his own. He felt things that he couldn’t have felt without that blue clock. Matt thought this to be exciting, as he wrote and wrote and wrote just the way he’s probably doing right now. As Matt wrote, the world evolved, people changed. The laws of the world adjusted, forcing each character to follow suit. Writing was something Matt much enjoyed, so he sat down at his desk and began to type the next chapter to allow this world to move forwards once again.
