day 1 - dreams

trying to be better about posting on tumblr and reutilizing my blog, so ill be uploading my ship week arts this week and reposting older works later! anyways here’s some yorirei for today’s prompt, ive been thinking abt them for a few days now :’)

You know, I don’t think the narrator’s suggestion really holds up. If Yorihime’s only interest in Reimu’s stories was the possibility of Eirin’s involvement, her enthusiasm would dip when it became clear Eirin wasn’t involved in a given story and run dry when it became clear that almost none of Reimu’s stories involved her at all.

With that possibility discarded, I think what we’re left with is that Yorihime is just really fascinated with the Earth and/or Reimu

and I think that’s very endearing.

(we already know Toyohime is fascinated with the Earth from her narration in Runagate chapter 3, but we don’t get Yorihime’s perspective on that incident, so her opinion is more difficult to divine with certainty)
