Unique 3 - Rhythm Takes Control.
1990 was all about the bass and bleeps and you can’t get much more bleepy and bassy than this!
Unique 3 were one of the first to really push this new sound with their earlier track ‘The Theme’, which proved to be aptly named as it became the tune that really drew attention to the Yorkshire techno scene.
‘Rhythm takes control’ was released at the peak of the scene and is one of the most haunting tunes you’ll ever hear. It still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end in parts!
And as for that killer bassline... just make sure you’ve got some speakers that can handle it!
