A bot shaped like a wedge-ramp with a hole in the top that houses a metal spike. The spike darts out and stabs the bot's belly as it drifts over, hopefully stabbing through to the electrical parts inside.
As mentioned previously with BEAR PUNCH the pneumatic spear was a very popular early battlebots design- and wedges were a very popular part of their strategy (as you picked up on in this ask)
La Machine was a (if not the) pioneer of the wedge- with her speed she could easily scoop other bots upside down or out of the battle box
And in her latter appearances she added a pneumatic spike to the top of her ramp- ensuring that bots didn’t fly all the way over her and where at the very least flipped over.
Other bots that followed suit with the wedge/spike combo include Jabberwock and Yoshikillerbot.
