I have a “sister” ( I don’t consider her family because of the way she acts ) that is constantly trying to put me down yelling at me trying to make me feel worthless. I started a small business but according to her it’s “ not a real job “ I mention a friend by their preferred name instead of dead name? I get an eye roll. Any mention of anything queer sends her into a rampage. I wish I was lying at that fact, she once yelled at two of my openly gay friends because they were in our house and they were getting their “gay cooties”everywhere. She has been diagnosed on the autism spectrum and other things but only very minorly on it and that dose not excuse her actions and the hate she she’s given people. She also likes to call all my interests dumb and anything that I find cool is weird. I wasn’t allowed to watch avatar the last air bender because it bothered her so much just cause it was animated. I could rant plenty more about her but the point is
You are Vaild no one deserves that much hate for existing and so I just want to say to anyone that might be struggling, you matter and your interests do too if you have someone like my “sister” knocking you down all the time ignore them you got this you really are a good person and for some people it’s parents knocking them down but it’s not stupid if it makes you happy.
Having to beg for understanding of your chronic illness isn’t a way to live. You don’t need to prove or explain yourself to anyone. Your pain and feelings are valid. You are valid. Whether they think it or not, your valid.
There is a thing called sexual orientation and romantic orientation! Meaning someone can lack sexual attraction, yet still have romantic attraction, want a romantic person, and be happy. Same thing with people who lack romantic attraction. They can still have great, happy relationships without the romance. And some can lack both!
Another reminder being orientation and gender are two different things. For some reason people get this mixed up, and I don’t understand it.
