Is it just me or Effie is a tsundere?

Not by design, but at this point, yeah she kinda comes off that way.

She just gets embarrassed by romantic and sexual things. She also gets trapped by the fact that she has no experience but wants to seem like she does and is, let’s say, refined or above such things as to not be affected by them. She’s just really bad at that last part.

But even with that label, you’re not gonna get any “it’s not like I like you or anything!” moments, cause she actually is willing to show her affection. Just in her own awkward way.

How would Papa II react to a potential s/o who is very tsundere? (Sorry I don’t have a better term). Like would that turn him off or would he see that as a challenge?

Not gonna lie I had to fucking look that up. I’ve watched like, four whole animes in my life so I am WACK at the termonology. BUT—

Y’know Papa II is all about attention. So naturally, when you give him the cold shoulder, he scoffs at first. Telling himself that you’ll come around eventually.

But when you don’t, he becomes intrigued. He thinks you have great physical restraint to deny him of all people. To which you scoff at, “If you weren’t so full of yourself maybe I’d want to be around you more often.”

Which was a half truth. He was a very beautiful man, but you just had to be the one to break his pompous attitude.

But you’re correct in saying that he enjoys a challenge. He does not give up easily. Because—referencing quite literally every single one of my Papa II posts—he loves to break down a composed, individualistic, hard-headed person. It fuels him, the sadistic fuck.
