hmm hot take but unless you are their spiritual director (and I doubt you are) it is not your job to tell people on the internet how they should fast

How did y'all generally get attached to your favorite media vs what drew you in?

I usually get attached to one or more characters and will stick with them through hell or high water or until they're killed off.

But what draws me in is usually aesthetics. I'm a very judge a book by it's cover, literally, kind of person. Especially when it comes to animation.
