season 10 first impressions

like last season, i thought eureka o'hara was messy but hilarious and charismatic. yuhua hamasaki's entrance was very strong. mayhem miller looks a lot of fun. always love to see more fat queens, so im excited to see kalorie kardashian williams's outfits.

im loving monet x change, kameron michaels, dusty ray bottoms, and THE VIXEN has me most excited.

not even 5 minutes into season 10 and jesus the racial micro aggressions have begun. asia o'hara had to watch the next queen after her walk in like "yeah I'm Miz Cracker" and then erueka o'hara didn't know what/where harlem was.

i'm halfway through season 9 of drag race and i just feel like this batch of contenders are not as charismatic or interesting or something. a lot of the outfits are gorgeous but the queens really did not know how to perform a fun or funny character. i didn't like her a whole lot but i did think eureka o'hara was funny, she was edgy and trying to be different in a group that is generally pretty with unremarkable personalities. sucks she had to go home per doctor's orders. it is nice to see peppermint accepted and embraced for coming as a trans woman though :)
