Day 30: Tell the tale of how exactly you found yourself getting into the HM series. Make it long and detailed! :D

Get ready for a long story dude…

I always watch my brother play video games, and this was one of the games that he let me play because he thought that I would like it. BOY WAS HE RIGHT… I think I was maybe 5 or 7 around the time…. I can’t remember…

But months later, he deleted the emulator and I never got to play the game again. I was still young, so I didn’t know how to set up the emulator and roms and herpa derp. And being the typical jerk of a brother, he would not tell me how to do it. >8T

Fastforward a few years later. I found my bro’s old original Nintendo that was collecting dust as I was cleaning my room. I then remembered Harvest Moon SNES again and asked him about it. And basically he told me to just find out for myself how to set up the emulator. And so I did.

NOSTALGIA~~~ All those feels just came back to me and I was so happy to finally figure out how to use the emulator. I didn’t know that I could marry anyone in the game so I didn’t marry anyone when I played that time. lol But I did figure it out at the last minute before the game ended. XP

Then I told my friend about Harvest Moon, and she told me her cousin had Harvest Moon GBC 2. So I also got to play that as well. And I grew fond of the female character Sara.

Then some yeras after that, I heard about FoMT. I got the GBA emulator for that and played it. And in turn, I also DLed the other HM:GBC games. XP Then I got a Gamecube and borrowed AWL and AnWL from friends. Then I DLed MFoMT also.

And that is where my adoration for Harvest Moon took off… The year after that, I bought Magical Melody and was so happy to finally OWN a Harvest Moon game. XD I’m still obsessed over Jamie of course…

And I bought my other games after that also, like ToT and AP. So I don’t really download them anymore. Once I get more cash, I’ll buy ANB for 3DS!!

But yeah… that’s where it all begin.
