Have some witch!Patton drawings! I have been developing the start of an au for this, so have this:

A bit of lore:

Patton is from a witch ‘faction’ called Gentian, a pacifist group that mainly practices healing magic.

Long hair is a symbol of pacifism in this faction, and to have short hair means you intentionally hurt someone, which would result in being banished.

If you cut a Gentian witch’s hair you will punished in some severe pacifist way.

Patton, obviously, has long hair (he’s nice! Wow!) and is an albino, which is greatly valued for reasons you will soon find out.

Gentians, as a principle, feel an amount of animosity towards the Daffodil faction, another thing with reasons you will soon find out.

Patton is pretty close pals with Roman, who is a witch (he’s actually a mage, which is different in a very important way.) from the Rose sorgina.

(Sorgina is the witchy word for faction)

He’s also a skilled seamstress, and is very good at creating ‘magical clothes’, which is a profession in this world.

Despite his skill in the magical clothing field, he is honestly kind of sh*tty when it comes to healing.

He’s not particularly wealthy, but he’s still friends with most people in his clan.

I don’t have too much of the au worked out yet, but I do have a bit, so if you’re interested let me know!

What shocked me most with the kids plots is the way they made M&S act about it after there’s a closure, like they have to move on with the show so they make them act like they don’t give a fuck about their kids. Like hello, we’re talking about children, human beings, not a book you throw away after youre done reading it ?? Idk if CC has children but he doesn’t know what he’s talking about, clearly.

Exactly! Look at the whole Emily plot. Scully finds out that she has a *kid* - a huge deal in and of itself. Then she loses her *daughter* and what happens? She isn’t mentioned again until she can be used as a plot device. After that? Never ever mentioned again.

William is only ever mentioned in passing after he’s gone. While he’s still there it’s obvious that CC doesn’t really know what to do with him. Except, again, use him as a plot device. People can work and just be parents? Children can just *exist*? If you don’t want to write about them, don’t have your characters have them! This is a TV show! You can CHOOSE to not let them have children.

But CC like putting his characters through hell and then somehow they have amnesia and don’t remember anything about their struggles (pun intended). As far as I know CC doesn’t have children (someone correct me if I’m wrong). But you don’t have to have children to write about them.

Funny lil story that happened today at school I want to share! I may or may not have used your story “A Pizza Diplomacy” to show what an example of fan-fiction is to my English Honors teacher, bc I don’t read many published books and if my friend can get away with reading a book about Roman emperors sex lives for her reading log, i can read a story about Hunk trying to teach Lotor and the lesbian squad to cook. In the end I got to write the story down on my reading log! Love your work btw 💞💜.
