Another Pennywise theory or question for the community!
Why do we think (in the franchise / IT universe) that pennywise's costume and hair has minute changes in the periods we've seen him in?
For me, I always thought it was to accomplish two things:
1. Try his best to minutley blend himself into the era he woke up in.
2. It shows correlation to how he had slept previously before awakening
I think its the first one as in WTD he has a curler set, very Period accurate for the early 60's; in Chp. 1, his hair was more wild, almost reminding me of the teased, wild hair of the Rockstars and people right before that period; ..I feel like an argument on his hair can be made for Chp. 2, but I can not think right now 🥲.
And when it comes to his outfit, thats more so my question. Besides it being dirtier in Chp. 2, as result of his bad sleep from going to hibernation starving- I cannot tell why it would be reasoned for him to change certain things on his outfit, like how puffy his pantaloons, collar, and shoulders are. Or also how tight his waist is, or possible how long his pants are, showing more or less of his boots?
