My Personal Review on K-drama "Heartstrings"

This is my review on the 2011 Korean drama on MBC, “You’ve Fallen For Me” or “Heartstrings”.

On my point of view, it’s a drama about love, music, dreams, sacrifices, family-ties, friendship, and discovering oneself. I can also tell that it also involves love stories between the people around the main characters, which I found amusing. And also the cast portrayed their roles very well, especially the main characters, Jung Yong Hwa (as Lee Shin) and Park Shin Hye (as Lee Gyu Won). I love the plot of this drama very much; it amazes me on how the characters change little by little as I watch it. Because of this drama, I find myself smiling around while watching Shin and Gyu Won’s youthful love story.

The drama didn’t fail to focus on MUSIC, as it is also about music, it includes, Traditional music and Modern music. Music is the most important ingredient in their plot because it opened many opportunities and discoveries for the characters.

True TALENT, it is what the characters reveal in themselves as the drama progresses.

I found an inspiration in this drama; I realized that I have to have a dream, and to pursue for it. I learnt many lessons in this drama, which I didn’t expect because I thought that it was only a happy-go-lucky or go-with-the-flow drama, if you know what I mean. I can’t tell the lessons in this drama one by one because the person who watches this drama should discover it himself/herself.

My Personal view on the cast

Main Characters

*Park Shin Hye as Lee Gyu Won

*Jung Yong Hwa (CNBLUE leader) as Lee Shin

I love the fact that the main characters are Yong Hwa and Shin Hye because I supported them long ago in their previous drama, “You’re Beautiful” although Yong Hwa was only a third-wheel there. I can see that these two are really professionals because despite the fact that they are best friends in real life, they were very comfortable in working with each other in a LOVE story (although I don’t believe that they are only best friends^^Duhhh~ DOOLIER here!!). I was really amazed as Yong Hwa showed good acting skills even though it is only his second time on acting in a drama. Shin Hye put much effort in the show as she specially learned how to play “gayageum” for the sake of this drama.

*Woo Ri as Han Hee Joo

 *Song Chang Ui as Kim Seok Hyeon

*So Yi Hyun as Jeong Yoon Soo

*Lee Hyun Jin as Hyun GI Young

*Im Se Mi as Cha Bo Woon

I was suprised to find the drummer of CNBLUE to appear in this drama, Kang Min Hyuk, I didn't expect him to be such a great actor as he portrays a child-like , weird poet and drummer character in this drama. I like him because he showed a different side of him by acting in this drama. 

I love how Woo Ri acts high and almighty but at some point, pitiful. She has a great role here because she's like Gyu Won's rival but is also Joon Hee's love interest.

I love the heartbreaking back story of Director Seok Hyeon and Professor Yoon Soo.

LOL I don't know what to say anymore so I'm ending my review here. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS K-DRAMA TO EVERYONE!!!! DAEBAK!!! xD
