Steve immediately tensed as the man came into view. The last he had seen that face, it had been responsible for the destruction in New York, for the terror and the lives that had been lost as a consequence. He instinctively started reaching for his shield, even as he took a wary step closer. “Loki...can’t say I’m pleased to see you. Got another invasion in mind? Cause I really don’t have time for that.” Honestly, he needed to find his best friend. He wouldn’t be able to do that if aliens came flying out of the sky. And he really did not want more aliens to come flying at him. “Maybe you can schedule something at another time. Preferably never, but really as long as it’s not right now...can’t be picky.”

         A genuine SMILE threatens to tug at his lips. “That it          has, twin mine. I do hope that time has treated you far          kinder?”

      K i n d e r... T’is a word that brings a rueful little smile upon Shade’s face as he gazed upon his twin, a light tilt of the head. Too many happenings had gone by, they had worn him thin but those were stories for another time and he was under the impression that he was not the only one worn thin...

      “ It has treated me as it ever treats me. “ he finally spoke vaguely, a light wave of the hand before he stepped forward. “ You however... I was under the impression you had all but disappeared, yet here you stand. You’ve quite the story to tell, hmm? “

    of course he was LYING; he always lied. he just wanted to ATTEMPT telling the truth for once. he was SORRY that he lied ( in his own way ), but he WOULDN’T stop doing it. not now - not a year from now and most certainly NOT ever. lies kept him ALIVE … even if he had to DEMOLISH relationships in the process. “ am i now? or is that just an ASSUMPTION?”

RUN AWAY FROM CRAZY SNAKE MAN!”

“Brother, have you taken the brew from the guarded vault? Are you headed towards Valhalla because of this? To tell you the truth, I am a little disturbed by your speech here, more than normal”. Thor would probably rescue the snakes before Loki would have the chance to do this but hopefully it wouldn’t come to that in the first place.
