Have you ever read ai no kusabi? I saw you reblog the thing and I was immediately interested in reading it as well as watching it? But? There’s like some different versions? Help I’m dumb??

I had the first volume when they translated it but I never managed to get the rest of the novels. I know they either redid it or retranslated it so I’m not sure I can be of a lot of help. But I think June manga translated it in English and should be available online. But there’s two anime. There’s the old OVA and the newer series that I forget if its a real series or an ova as well.

Tbh I dropped the series a few books after the Hueco Mundo arc and the reveal of the ex-captains bc I got pissed all the characters were so interesting but kept getting tossed out after 2 chapters, never to be seen ever again, so it’s been yeeeeeears

BUT

I’m very petty so I might actually watch it just so I can complain and whine all over again about the wasted potential
