Sorry if you've been asked this before - I can't find it anywhere on your blog. What cast on and increases and decreases do you use for your puffs? Mine just look so messy in comparison to yours!
Hey thanks! I cast on in a really weird way that I can't remember if I made up or not. Using long tail, I hold the two needles (I use magic loop method) together in my hand, then alternately cast on one stitch on the left needle, then one on the right, and continue till I have ten on each needle. If this has an actual name that someone knows about, please reply!
I increase using kfb, and decrease using ssk at the start of one needle then k2tog at the end of the needle. I also moved both increases and decreases in one stitch from the edge. I find this gives them a neater look overall.
I won't write this out in a pattern or anything because it's not my intellectual property. For anyone uninitiated, this is about the Beekeeper's Quilt by Tiny Owl Knits. I didn't invent the pattern, just altered it a little.
I hope this helps you with your puff journey!
