Why are we afraid?
Why are we afraid, when everything we want is within our grasp, to reach out and take it? Because we are afraid of hurting people? Because we are more afraid of having what we want than wanting what we have?
Why do we make sacrifices for those who continually mistreat us? Why is it when we are shown the path to walk, the best path for us, the true path, we continually run away from it?
Why are we so afraid to reach out and take the power that is ours?
Because we think we shouldn't. Because we think it doesn't belong to us. Because we think we aren't good enough.
We deserve the best.
