If I was your girlfriend, I'd be a very different person. But we would eat much sushi and drink coffee. We would wear sweaters in the city and I would make you scarves for every gift-giving occasion and probably a few just here and there. You would have too many scarves. You could hardly walk for all the scarves you would have to wear.

oh! here's the rest: like, all the tehtar were correct, but the very first tengwa should have been esse nuquerna, right, but it was, like, a gamma. a greek gamma. So that was a thing. I don't remember entirely but I think 'today' had tinco for both t and d; it was a mess. And I told him, 'I'm really really sorry but this is permanent and it is wrong!' and he said 'no it's okay I downloaded the font and typed it out myself'. It was all I could do to keep from shrieking.

So last night I was at a party and this guy was there with his girlfriend and she said something about his tengwar tattoo. And I got really excited and asked to see it and my face FELL as I was confronted with gibberish. I may not have been entirely compos mentis at the time, but I still couldn't make head or tail of it. He told me it says 'use the gifts of today' and I said no, it doesn't and proceeded to point out that the first letter isn't even a tengwa...(to be continued)
