If he was really in such a rush, he wouldn’t be fooling around and wasting his time waiting for her to make up her mind - it was a game, almost mocking her flicker of hesitation. He knew how desperate she must be to ask a serious criminal to get her out of the crown city, and it was by no means an easy decision, but he had a fair point: this wasn’t an opportunity she could seize again. Escaping the castle under the guise of a nefarious kidnapping by flying pirates was a perfect cover, but there was definitely a very sore risk that the ruse would quickly be wrestled out of her control.
“Fine. You take me…you ‘abduct’ me…to my desired destination - and I pay your price. I only ask that the terms and conditions of this agreement remain completely transparent; I’ll uphold my end of the deal if you uphold yours, and nothing else.”
